Pride of America is a Pure Peruvian treasure! Impressive grey genetics from sire Dom Timbo, and advanced fleece characteristics from outstanding fawn dam 6Peruvian Maisa combined to produce a fleece of amazing fineness, density, staple length, brightness and high-frequency crimp. His first fleece took Best of Show at Fiberfest 2002; the next a Blue Ribbon at the AOBA National Conference 2003. He has also taken firsts and seconds in full-fleece halter classes and in composite. Strong and square with terrific bone, great conformation, majestic presence and excellent libido, he remains easy to handle. At nearly 4 years of age his AFD remains a low 20.7 microns. His first crias have arrived and most of them are GREY! He has produced both rosegrey and silver and even the folks that got male crias are happy and have come back for more. His stud fee is $3000, with a $500 discount for small breeders (less than six breeding females). Live cria guarantee. Limited breedings. Reserve now. Pride of America has been sold to Kalmar Kolors Alpacas in Western Illinois, but he will be returning to Promised Land Farm on a regular basis.

Silver Lining has incomparable genetics. Her pedigree speaks for itself. Her silver grey sire, My Peruvian Fire-N-Ice is sired by silver grey, CPreruvian Silvio. Her dam is sired by silver grey, 5Peruvian Silverado. Silver is our Super-Mom. Gets pregnant easily, birthes easily and has big healthy crias. She has had 5 crias; 3 silver greys, a dark fawn and a true black. Her 2009 cria, Cinco, can also be seen on this site. YAAAA!! On Sept. 22, 2012, Silver Lining delivered a gorgeous dark silver grey female cria. She is just what we wanted! This new little girl is sired by CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon, he is a non-fading true black, who has retained his exceptional fineness and lack of medulation, well into his later life. He was 22.0 microns at 8 yrs. old. Pretty amazing for a black! This new little girl should have a very exciting future! GREAT NEWS!! Silver Lining was confirmed pregnant to Snowmass Royal Star. Royal Star was owned by Wade Gease and sired over 30 crias while at his farm. He is a son of the great Snowmass Royal Rose. His fleece should be a very complimentary match with hers. Her due date is Sept. 18, 2013. Live Cria Guarantee. This is a 3 in 1 package. With the purchase of Silver Lining comes a free breeding to MFI Peruvian Allblack. Allblack is the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show Reserve Champion. Allblack's paternal grandsire is Dom Timbo, a grey which should help in the possibility of getting a grey cria. Silver has certainly proven herself to be a very dependable producer. She is seven years old and was just confirmed pregnant with her sixth cria, can't ask for anymore than that! FREE DELIVERY within 200 mi FREE BOARD for 60 days. Silver is also offered in our 6 in 2 pregnant girl package that can be seen on this site.

Description

This boy has true presence! Cinco is a very beautiful young male with a shimmering silver blue fleece. His very long staple length and softness will make his very large heavy prime blanket a real pleasure for hand spinners and knitters! He also has great potential as a herdsire. He has a very classy pedigree that reads like a who's who of Peruvian champions. This quality breeding shows through in his flawless correct conformation. Cinco also has a very calm, VERY EASY to work with disposition. Our prodigal son Cinco probably wishes we never took him to The 2011 Carolina Alpaca Celebration. He has returned home to the weight watchers diet plan of all diet plans, after his judge Wade Gease moved him down from second to third and then said it was because he was fat! OK we can fix that. Weight Watchers here we come! UPDATE: And we did fix it! Cinco placed second in a very competitive class of seven at the 4/9/11 Indiana Alpaca Invitational, with all positive comments from the judge, not a word about him being a little tubby. YAAA Cinco! We offer FREE DELIVERY within 200 mi. Also FREE BOARD for 60 days Cinco is priced way, way below his value. We just have too many males. He's one of our best, but I HAVE to have the space.
