2008 was the first time a single herdsire won both light and dark herdsire of the year at The Futurity in both classes in a single year. Jeremiah is Co-owned with Majestic Meadows and Flying Pony Alpacas. "The most advanced alpaca fleece I’ve seen anywhere in the world" ... these are words a famous international judge used to describe Jeremiah's bundling fleece, comments that have been echoed by other judges over the years. It’s those same comments that we have heard about many of his award winning offspring. Jeremiah himself has won numerous awards including 13 championships, Best Crimp, Herdsire of the Year and Reserve Herdsire of the Year SIX times (something never accomplished in our industry by any other male), Best Hand Awards and Judge's Choice under some of the best alpaca judges in our industry. Jeremiah's offspring have won over 150 championships. This is an extremely consistent line and we are proud to have Jericho, Jeremiah and now Jumanji in the pedigree of many of our award winning and producing alpacas here at Majestic Meadows Alpacas. This young male is only priced this way because he is part of our 'MAKE ROOM IN THE BARN FOR THE NEW CRIAS SALE'. This low price by no means reflects upon his quality. This is the description of MFI Peruvian Dreamaboutthat, as quoted from Tripp Forstner: "I am used to seeing extremely high quality fleeces out of Jeremiah; however, every now and again, one comes through that is just a cut above the rest. I do dream about those fleeces and on this young male is the fleece I was dreaming about. Creating a spectacle at shearing as he came through, we stopped all motion so everyone could see this unique and stunning juvenile fleece. Extreme frequency with amazing brightness and an architecture level the likes of which we don't get to see on a regular basis. For years at Magical Farms, we have used the combination of Abundance with the lineage of Jeremiah to produce great results. In this case, the absolute best of both showed up in a single male. So impressed am I that I am at a loss for words. His fleece quality will speak for itself".
