Prairieland Peruvian Nutmeg
HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Fawn
AOA# 30417717DOB: 8/5/200618 yrs
Nutmeg is a wonderful girl with a great disposition. She has an incredibly fine handle, great density, and beautiful Vicuna markings. Nutmeg is an average-sized female with sound conformation. Nutmeg's dam, Odessa Star, was the product of two suri alpacas. This is probably where Nutmeg gets her nice, fine fleece. Nutmeg's sire brought black genetics, which Nutmeg displays on her face, black gums, and dark toenails. If bred to black or gray, she could easily throw those colors.
Nutmeg had a beautiful light fawn full Peruvian male cria September 2012, Crane Creek's Peruvian Sun King. Sun King's fiber report revealed a WONDERFUL 18.8 AFD. With his bundles of soft, crimpy fleece and his spot-on conformation, he is turning out to be a fine young herdsire. Her 2013 cria Gaucho has the most amazing staple length and density and a wonderful personality, and was pre-sold before weaning! Nutmeg delivered a darling Full Peruvian female cria Honeypie late 2014, sold after weaning. Nutmeg delivered a handsome Peruvian male cria, Crane Creek's Peruvian Kashmir on 3/22/16, who will be included until weaning with Nutmeg at NO ADDITIONAL COST! This female is an attentive mother with abundant milk, and would make a great addition to your herd.
