Our BEST Producer of Female Crias

Hey Babe's Splenda

HuacayaBred (Female)Beige
AOA# 1436549DOB: 10/12/200420 yrs
Splenda is a beautiful female with fine and crimpy fleece in a light apricot color. She has a sweet and gentle personality, and is extremely easy to work with. She is an attentive mother with abundant milk, and her first seven crias were easy births. Splenda's sire is from the Don Julio and Hemingway line. She exhibits many of the wonderful fiber characteristics associated with these great herdsires. Splenda has consistently produced EXCELLENT crias, who have had sub 20 micron counts. All of their fleeces have been hand spinners favorites, with comments such as "it's like working with cashmere" and "it's such a pleasure to spin". Splenda has been our BEST foundation female. She delivered a beautiful medium fawn female cria "Crane Creek's Lovely Rita" on 6/8/14 that was sold before weaning. Splenda delivered another beautiful female cria "Crane Creek's Sadie" on 3/8/16, sired by our Instant Karmal. Sadie was sold at only 3 weeks of age! (Of course, her dam travelled with her on loan to her new home until Sadie was weaned.) 2006 Histogram: 23.2 AFD This would fall in the SOFT range 20-24 AFD Splenda's price was recently dropped by 50% as she has been battling a nasty skin condition for four years now, and has lost some large spots of fiber along her spine. She's been treated with "Witches Brew" and is growing back some of the fiber that was lost, but we don't expect her to ever fully recover her blanket. She is our BEST producer of fine quality female crias, her new lower price only reflects the skin condition. Splenda should have at least another 5 or 6 high quality crias in her future, hurry and pick her up at this amazingly low price.
