King Cole is currently visiting Indiana, he is doing stud work at Hoosier Heartland Alpacas, in Seymour, IN. Call Ed and Juvonda Jones for breeding specials yo this fantastic herdsire.
His 1st Cria was an awesome TB female from a WHITE Dam! He has continued to produced black cria's.
Not just another fantastic black Suri Male, ITS King Cole! His mother, Twilight, is a deep maroon color and has grey on both sides of her family tree. King Cole has inherited his tiny locks from his sire, Admiral, a prize winning rose grey. If you are looking for black who throws black with the potential to throw grey, King Cole is the perfect choice. He has great conformation, a solid build and a very sweet disposition.
King Cole also has a fine fleece with incredibly soft handle and shimmering black color! His 2006 micron count was 23.8, very good for a black suri!
Top all that with 1/4th of his genetics are Alianza.
King Cole has a fantastic looking head so if you have girls with just OK looking heads KC just might be able to help you get those babies with the gorgeous heads, in addition to fine dark fleece.
I decided at the last minute to enter some fleece samples in the 2010 Suri Network Fleece Show Spinoff. In June we sheared 50 alpaca's, as they were sheared the 1st were gathered up and placed in a bag, the 2nds were gathered and placed in a 2nd bag that was then stuck inside the 1st bag. Name tags and dates were also stuck in the bags. To enter the spinoff I simply opened the bag took out 2 ounces and put in a bag with the rest of the paperwork. I did not do anything to prepared the fleece samples and really have no clue what part of the blanket the fleece sample came from and he placed 2nd!!!<--description-->
"Mojo" is one of the sweetest girls on our farm.
She was been bred to ITS King Cole (TB and 1/4 Alianza) for a fall 2012 cria. Look at the black in her background and you will see that this breeding will produce color and most likely black. (She gave us a black girl) Frenchie;
She was bred to Padre Pio for her 2013 Cria.
In 2014, she went to Pennsylvania and was bred to Marauder, and brought us Jack.
Mojo's 2015 breeding was to our very own Wrecker, his first year to breed. We were very excited to see this birth of Uriah in the Fall of 2016. Uriah is very fine like her mom and dad who won 1st place in the National show.
She is a Macgyver granddaughter and was sired by the now deceased Sierra Bonita's Macgyver's Mojo. She stands tall and proud and her fiber is of the open lock style and is just like working with butter.
2014 AFD 17.2, SD 4.6, CV 26.7, & %>30u=2.6.
She was never shown as she came from a farm in bankruptcy.
