Great Smoky is a very nice young medium silver grey male. He has Hemingway, Escobar, Snowmass Black N' Gold, Legacy bloodlines on his sire's side. His dam is medium brown with white on her face and has only produced medium silver greys and true blacks (two of each). He has a very gentle disposition and superb confirmation. Great Smoky is the first grey male to be born at Black Forest Alpacas. We bred him to Garnet and have a positive ultrasound. We are so excited to see the results of this combination! Dr. Anthony Stachowski, who has been in the business for over 26 years, looked at Great Smoky and said, "Horse power in grey! Look at that leg coverage! Beautiful ears with coverage. Perfect bite. Fleece has definition of character, high frequency crimp, and is dense. Conformation down pat!” Make an appointment today and come take a look at this very nice male. Smoky's first cria is on the ground. Smoky's Brilliante of Black Forest is a beautiful rose gray girl. We used Smoky a lot in the 2012 breeding season. He sired: Blackforest's Shamus, Blackforest's O'Malley, Blackforest's Darby, Blackforest's Shavann and we used him again 5 more times in 2013. More crias will be here soon.

Here is a really nice true black Full Peruvian female destined to produce high quality offspring. She took 5th place at 2006 AlpacaFest. Histogram in April 2007 shows a MC of 25.5 and CV of 23.5. Futurity produced 3.5lbs of prime blanket fleece in 2007. She was bred to Crescent Moon's Equilizer, sired by Snowmass Black n' Gold and mother is a Legacy daughter, for an awesome cria in 2008! Snowmass Black n' Gold took 2nd place at the 2003 AOBA Nationals. Equilizer has also done well with a Reserve Color Championship, two 1st places, two 2nd places, and two 3rd places! Futurity is a great foundation female looking for true black or silver/rose gray Peruvian bloodlines. Futurity delivered a black female that weighed over 20 lbs on 5 August 2008, Blackforest's Olympia. Olympia sold to a local farm before she was even weaned. She produced an awesome dark brown male in 2009. This little guy is one of the nicest male crias born at Black Forest Alpacas. Futurity was bred to Snowmass Black Passion. On Sep 2, 2010, Futurity delivered an awesome black female, appropriately named, Maserati -- yes she is that special! We are very excited about this beautiful girl!! We really liked her so we repeated the breeding to Snowmass Black Passion, and this time they produced another black female, Blackforest's Minuet. In 2012, we bred Futurity to award winning Black Forest's Great Smoky. The gave us a beautiful girl, Shavann. Shavann got a first place at the AOBA National Show in 2013. If you are interested in getting more information about Futurity, please give us a call!! We do have financing available as well as discounts for multiple animal purchases!!
