Cordell is an exceptional dark male that we added to our breeding program here at Black Forest Alpacas. We bought him at the Futurity auction 2010 from Magical Farms. His sire is PC Running Late 557, a very big name herdsire especially back East, and his grand herdsire is 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan. On his dam's side, he has MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite and 4Peruvian Matador bloodlines. We are extremely excited about his fiber and histogram and look forward to using Cordell to make vast improvements to our brown and dark breeding program. He's a dynamite male with a dynamite pedigree. If you are breeding for color, and genotype is as important to you as phenotype, he's a fantastic choice for your breeding program!

Ice Princess is our best "mothers". We have owned all of her offspring (Reykjavik, Ice Duchess, Icelander, White Russian, White Knight, Shenandoah, and now Jupiter) but have sold Ice Duchess and Icelander to Rockin' Schoolhouse Ranch in 2006. Ice Princess is the daughter of Bolivian White Ice which is one of Alpacas of America's white herdsires with Bolivian ancestory. Princess is one of our more timid females in that she stands in the back of the herd when we are doing work around the corrals and is almost always one of the last ones in from the pasture when we round them up for the evening. She has an extremely nice disposition and her crias have the exact same disposition as their mom. They tend to be very quiet and are never aggressive when it comes to feeding time. Princess has this great knack of producing offspring that are considerably better than she is in every aspect and has given us ribbon winners EVERY YEAR. She is overall a B- female alpaca for fleece and an A+ breeding female for offspring. She is one of our original females and is a "rock solid" foundation female for any herd. She has a 1st and a 3rd Produce of Dam Ribbon at TxOLAN 2 yrs in a row and the competition was very tough!! Her male cria (White Knight) from 2007 out of Challenge placed 4th out of 14 in an extremely competitive white male juvenile class at GWAS 08. Breed her to almost any herdsire and you will improve the cria at least one to two generations! She delivered a white female cria with lots of crimp in 2008 (Shenandoah). The quality of the cria was so superb, we repeated the breeding to Jules. She delivered a white male cria in 2009 that is extremely nice (Jupiter). Her breeding Aquila de mi Corazon produced Black Forest's Titan. In 2012, we bred her to MFI Peruvian Cordell and they produced a beautiful girl, Arietta. For 2013, we bred her to Prosecco. They produced a beautiful little girl, Cinderella, who was sold to a farm in Japan!! Ice Princess is now bred to our 29X-Champion TP Poseidon's Motivator. Ice Princess is just one of our very best moms!!!

TP Poseidon's Motivator is the best and most impressive offspring of Poseidon. That comment is coming from one of Poseidon's owners! What sets him apart is his extremely dense fiber, extreme expression of crimp, brightness & superior fineness with amazing bundle formation. One of his truly exquisite characteristics is that he thoroughly expresses all of these with a stylish, typey phenotype. He truly is an amazing young male that is producing "A+" offspring. He has already racked up an amazing show listing with 29 Color Championships, SEVEN Best Crimp awards including the National AOBA World Fleece Show 2009 (out of 729 fleece entries), NINE Judges's Choice awards, and a 1st Place at AOBA Nationals 2008 & Color Champion Fleece at Nationals 2009. He won Color Champion for both fleece and halter at GWAS 2010 and won best crimp and judges choice. GWAS 2010 was Motivator's swan song--his last Halter championship BUT his fleeces will continue to be shown next year. With 25-Championships--he is one of the most decorated White/Beige Males in the entire country. We can't wait to see how far this male can go, not only in the show ring but even more so in the breeding programs in Colorado and Texas!! He won 2 Color Championships in Halter and 2 Reserve Color Championships in Fleece at the same shows, the TxOLAN Spectacular 2009 & the Houston Livestock Show 2009. He also won a Color Championship in Fleece at GWAS 2009. In 2010 his show summary includes: 6 Color Championships, 2 Judges Choice, and 2 Best Crimp Awards. In the first three months of 2011 he's added 3 Color Championships, 2 Judges Choices, and 1 Best Crimp! WOW!! Motivator has already about 20+ females pregnant and most of those females are FOR SALE! Motivator won another 1st place and his 21st Championship at AOBA Nationals, 2011!! In 2012 and 2013 he is continuing his outstanding winning records, just no stopping him!!
