AOA# 848325DOB: 5/21/200321 yrs
Reykjavik's sire is Dom Lucilio which makes Rey 1/4 ACCOYO and 1/2 Peruvian. Rey is an outstanding example of breeding an above average female with an outstanding male that produces an outstanding offspring. Rey has some of the best fleece we've seen with outstanding fineness, handle, staple length, and density. We bred him to two of our foundation herd females at about 28 months of age and both of these ladies got pregnant on the first try! His first cria is Capt Morgan in our herd. He looks pretty amazing already. As a Dom Lucilio son, we purchased Rey before his father sold at auction in May of 2004 for over $400,000. Rey might not be as good as his dad, but he is throwing outstanding crias. Rey's crias did very well at TxOLAN in 2008. Reykjavik received 4th Place (out of 9 entries) for Get-of-Sire. His offspring won 1st (Beige) and Reserve Color Champion in Light (Prince Charming), a 2nd in Dark Fawn with Belle, and a 5th with Capt Morgan in Medium Fawn. All three classes were big and very competitive. We only bred Reykjavik one time for 2008 crias but we will definitely be increasing that number of breedings for 2009 crias. Prince Charming also won a Blue ribbon at GWAS and Reykjavik finished 6th in Get-of-Sire, both classes being extremely large and competitive.

SA Peruvian Magic's Cassidy

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 1105452DOB: 1/7/200421 yrs
Cassidy had a little dark fawn female cria with white socks from Crescent Moon's Equilizer in June 2010. She looks really nice and is a real head turner on the farm. Cassidy is dark brown, full peruvian, foundation female. Here is a hard to find dark brown full peruvian female who is bound to produce beautiful colored peruvian crias. She produced a soft handled uniform fleeced black male who took 2nd place at 2007 A-OK Blastoff and was sold at 8 months. In 2007, she delivered a dark fawn female. She delivered a very nice true black male out of Rainier on 10 May 2008, named Black Canyon of Blackforest. In 2009, she and Crescent Moon's Equilizer gave us a girl, Coffee Latte; in 2010 an other girl from this same combination with Equilizer, named Riviera. Both of these girls are medium brow. She was bred to MFI Peruvian Cordell. This winning combination produced a gorgeous light fawn male, Cordell's Crescendo of Blackforest. In 2012, we bred her to Great Smoky Mnts of Blackforest and we got a black male, Blackforest's O'Malley. This result was so good, we repeated it for 2013 and got a beautiful dark brown female, Jasmine of Blackforest. Now we have her bred to a dark rose grey male--very excited to see what we get!! Cassidy also has several show placements of her own!! Call and make an offer today on this dark brown full peruvian proven female out of Stachowski's Black Magic!

Service Sire: Tuscan's Prosecco di Bella Vita

Co-owned with Bella Vita Alpaca Ranch

Tuscan's Prosecco di Bella Vita

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Dark Brown
AOA# 31577984DOB: 10/19/200816 yrs
Named after the fine Italian dessert wine and grape, this male is a sweet addition to our breeding program here at Black Forest Alpacas. Bella Vita expected a superior cria from Cocoa Puffe and Tuscan, and they got it. He has beautiful evenly colored dark fawn fleece with fabulous brightness and gnarly, little crimpy bundles you can feel as well as see. He has a gorgeous head, compliments from both sides of his pedigree. His dam, Cocoa Puffe, is an outstanding female at Bella Vita Ranch and she has produced an other multi-champion huacaya herdsire, El Corazon', who simply has one of the best huacaya heads we've seen. Cocoa Puffe is also the dam of Res. Color champ Chia Pet, multiple blue ribbon Chocolat and grand dam of Res. Color Champion Angelina. Just looking at Prosecco, one can see he has great show potential. His half brother, El Corazon', sheared 11 pounds as a 3 year old in 2008. Long staple length is the added benefit from Cocoa Puffe as noted in all her crias. Tuscan's brightness and crimp definition are apparent in Prosecco's elite fleece. He is a farm and show favorite. People at the shows stop to look at him because of his "teddy bear" appearance. Definitely a show stopper!! He is so nice that Bella Vita Ranch wanted to retain 1/2 interest! He is showing strong breeding behavior and is reliable enough to use for spit testing but he is not yet proven. He has started breeding and we have confirmed pregnancies. We are really excited about his offspring!

Description

Extremely nice female with great density, fineness, and uniformity. She has several different colors on her head. She has superb bloodlines and will produce some crias in the future. She is 3/4 peruvian and will make a great breeding female for any farm. She produced a superb male in 2012 who was named Braden of Blackforest. He was sold already to a farm in Japan as a future breeding male. He should arrive at his new home in Japan in late May 2013! If Coffee Latte's first cria is any indication of her potential future crias, her price of $1,500 if a real bargain. She also comes with a breeding to any of our solely owned Black Forest Alpacas herdsires!
