King David is truly a royal alpaca in every aspect. Bloodlines include Caligula, Presidio, Accoyo Grand Triumph, and Placido as his sire. He sheared over 9 and 3/4 lbs of fleece at 9 and 1/2 months old. I didn't believe it but we weighted it 3 different times to make sure. His histogram was also pretty amazing as well with MFD 19.0 / SD 4.7 / CV 24.9 / <30 2.5 & [email protected] King David will be one of our primary breeding males in about 6 months and we plan on showing him or his fleece a few more times. He has been to numerous halter shows and always done well--he normally gets knocked down a little for his tennis ball size brown spot on his front shoulder. King David has also done well in the fleece shows with two 1sts, a 2nd and a 4th and he won a Color Championship and Reserve Color Championship. We have been keeping track and King David HAS NEVER BEEN BEAT for weight/weight points by another juvenile white male. We think he will continue that trend. Did we mention that King David weighed over 25 1/2 pounds at birth and is one of the biggest yearlings we have ever seen. His personality is also about as good as it gets, very composed, relaxed, and just very gentle around/towards people. He sired four crias who were delivered in 2010. They all inherited his outstanding fleece and conformation characteristics. Sign up for a breeding to this amazing male today!!

Dam: Passion's Red Angel

Passion's Red Angel

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30357389DOB: 9/11/200519 yrs
For those of you who have a passion for the red/med brown alpacas, here is a really nice young proven female! Passion's Red Angel not only inherited her dam's gorgeous red coloring, but she also inherited her dam's fineness and density. She's a nice young female that has grown into an excellent breeding female that would enhance almost any breeding program. She is good sized, weighing 161 pounds at 24 months. She had a light fawn female cria in Sept 2007 which we sold due to her great confirmation and fleece. Red Angel was bred back to Silver Rose P. Rainier (Light Fawn) and produced a very nice medium brown male, named Rainier's Redwood of Blackforest. This male had one of the finest fleeces of our entire herd when we sheared in May 2009. He is definitely a breeding quality male and went to his first show at the National Western Stock Show in Jan 2010. He got a 2nd out of 11 dark males. Red Angel had a white male from Stewart's Royal King David in June 2010. This breeding produced another superb cria in 2010, a white male we named Charger. Red Angel is a sweet heart with a disposition to match and has turned out to be a very good mother. We bred Red Angel and Red Beard for his crimp and her fineness. This little girl, Cantata, delivered right on the 330 day. She looks just like her daddy (Red Beard). We sold her to a farm in Japan!! Her 2013 cria, another girl, The Rose, is a beautiful medium brown girl. Red Angel is now bred to our 29X Champion, TP Poseidon's Motivator. Give us a call today on Red Angel.

Description

Charger is only the second offspring from King David and he really looks superb!! He is big, strong, phenotypical and has outstanding fleece crimp, fineness and density. His staple length is unbelievable! He is big for his age and we suspect he will make a strong candidate for a junior herdsire in the future. Congratulations to Brad, Lisa and Mason Berens for purchasing Black Forest's Charger!
