Corona was born on Flag Day, 2006. He is a big healthy young herdsire and weighed over 135 lbs at 21 months. HE HAS STARTED BREEDING and HAS his first cria on the ground (a female out of Elisa). He has beautiful fiber with extreme high frequency crimp and fineness. He is out of Xanadu P. Placido, a PRESIDIO SON, and we think is an awesome male and junior herdsire. We have several Placido offspring and everyone of them has outstanding fleece, superb confirmation, and have done very well at the shows we attended. Corona is almost white on his side but light fawn from his topknot to his tail and across his back. He is a true beige color. He is Full Peruvian and his mother is one of our best females in our herd. He took 2nd at A-OK Alpaca Blast Off in 2007. With 40 males on the farm, we can afford to let some very nice males go at DRASTICALLY reduced prices. We bred Corona to Elisa and really like what we've seen in Elisa's female, Butterscotch Sundae.

Elisa is the daughter of Peruvian Dakotia who was killed in the contaminated feed incident in Ohio a few years ago. She has Dakotia, Bueno, and Chaparral bloodlines and is one of our best "moms" in the herd. She doesn't really like to be caught while she is pregnant but is pretty gentle in her overall disposition. She has very dense and crimpy fleece and produced two very nice female crias in 2004 (Miss Liberty Bell) and 2005 (Quizzie) and two very nice male crias in 2006 (Capt Morgan) and 2007 (King Triton). King Triton is a white male out of Diamond's Crown Jules (bloodlines include Caligula, Auzengate, Royal Fawn, and Augusto). King Triton also looks extremely strong at this early age. Elisa is an outstanding foundation female for any farm. She was bred to The Invincible Nathaniel (our best herdsire) and delivered a white male cria on Halloween during the day. She was bred and delivered a Blackforest's Corona I female cria in the fall of 2009 (Butterscotch Sundae). In 2011, we bred her to MFI Peruvian Cordell. Elisa had Blackforest's Forte. In 2012, she and Red Beard produced Celtic Thunder, who was sold at 6 months! Check out her histogram for this production female (MIC of 21.3; CV of 16.8; SD of 3.6). WOW! We are offering her for sale today at significantly less then what we paid for her. In 2013, she and TP Poseidon's Motivator produced a male, Blackforest's Takeo, who was sold to a farm in Japan.
