Rainier is a Vicuna colored Full Peruvian & 1/2 Accoyo male herdsire destined to produce some award winning crias due to his color, fineness, and density! With hard to find bloodlines of Ppperuvian Yupanqui and Pperuvian Felix, his bloodline stock is outstanding. We will have about 8 crias from Rainier in 2008 and we are anxious to see how great they look!! Rainier produced an unbelievable 6.38 lbs of prime blanket fleece in 2008 and over 13 lbs total fleece sheared. That is the most we have every had from any alpaca at Black Forest Alpacas. Rainier produced 5.5lbs of prime blanket fleece last year which grew 0.32mm/day. The Stewart's liked what they saw of Rainier at the 2005 AOBA National Show where he placed 3rd in the Beige class. Look for Rainier's offspring to do well in the show ring over the next year or two! Rainier and Snowdrop produced an one of the best offspring on the farm, Mount Rainier. This stud has 15 First Place Ribbons and 4 Championships. Rainier produces show-quality animals on the ground. Summer is a sweetheart on the farm. She has a fawn colored dense crimpy blanket and a white collar around her neck. And she produces LOTS of fleece. She has a sweet face, friendly disposition, and beautiful appearance. She is great on a halter. This little guy has great crimp and we believe he is going to follow in his father's footsteps. She delivered a female cria in November 2006, Vanilla Cappuccino, who we sold to a breeder from Alaska. She delivered a white male cria out of Crown Jules, Blackforest's Aladdin. She was bred back to Rainier and we received an awesome cria out of her on 20 Oct 2008, Black Forest's Bandelier. We sold her 2009 cria. In 2010, we bred her Motivator (20-time color champion). They produced the best offspring Summer has ever produced, Black Forest's Camaro. For 2011, we decided to go with a dark sire, and bred her to MFI Peruvian Cordell. This resulted in Half Note, who now lives in Japan! We paired Summer with Mount Rainier for a 2012 cria, and we got a little brown girl, Sheena.
