Here is a really nice true black Full Peruvian female destined to produce high quality offspring. She took 5th place at 2006 AlpacaFest. Histogram in April 2007 shows a MC of 25.5 and CV of 23.5. Futurity produced 3.5lbs of prime blanket fleece in 2007. She was bred to Crescent Moon's Equilizer, sired by Snowmass Black n' Gold and mother is a Legacy daughter, for an awesome cria in 2008! Snowmass Black n' Gold took 2nd place at the 2003 AOBA Nationals. Equilizer has also done well with a Reserve Color Championship, two 1st places, two 2nd places, and two 3rd places! Futurity is a great foundation female looking for true black or silver/rose gray Peruvian bloodlines. Futurity delivered a black female that weighed over 20 lbs on 5 August 2008, Blackforest's Olympia. Olympia sold to a local farm before she was even weaned. She produced an awesome dark brown male in 2009. This little guy is one of the nicest male crias born at Black Forest Alpacas. Futurity was bred to Snowmass Black Passion. On Sep 2, 2010, Futurity delivered an awesome black female, appropriately named, Maserati -- yes she is that special! We are very excited about this beautiful girl!! We really liked her so we repeated the breeding to Snowmass Black Passion, and this time they produced another black female, Blackforest's Minuet. In 2012, we bred Futurity to award winning Black Forest's Great Smoky. The gave us a beautiful girl, Shavann. Shavann got a first place at the AOBA National Show in 2013. If you are interested in getting more information about Futurity, please give us a call!! We do have financing available as well as discounts for multiple animal purchases!!

Description

This superb looking juvenile male was an instant hit on our farm. He has macho written all over him. He will definitely be hitting the show circuit to see what the judges think of him. At TxOLAN 2010, Apollo didn't disappoint us. He came in first out of 6 juvenile bay black males and the judge said he was the "clear" winner in the class. He had the best confirmation and best fleece by far. He was very competitive for the Color Championship but as the youngest in his class and the youngest in the championship at 6.5 months, he just didn't get that final look for a championship banner. He is a extremely nice male that we would consider partners at 1/2 interest. He is borderline dark brown to bay black. Come to the farm and take a look at this young male!
