Rainier is a Vicuna colored Full Peruvian & 1/2 Accoyo male herdsire destined to produce some award winning crias due to his color, fineness, and density! With hard to find bloodlines of Ppperuvian Yupanqui and Pperuvian Felix, his bloodline stock is outstanding. We will have about 8 crias from Rainier in 2008 and we are anxious to see how great they look!! Rainier produced an unbelievable 6.38 lbs of prime blanket fleece in 2008 and over 13 lbs total fleece sheared. That is the most we have every had from any alpaca at Black Forest Alpacas. Rainier produced 5.5lbs of prime blanket fleece last year which grew 0.32mm/day. The Stewart's liked what they saw of Rainier at the 2005 AOBA National Show where he placed 3rd in the Beige class.
