SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Brown
AOA# 1432640DOB: 8/27/200420 yrs
Hugo is sired by the famous HHSSF Peruvian Accoyo Hershey who has thrown many outstanding show winning offspring! He has correct conformation covered with very high luster and extremely fine dark brown locks that are dense and his coverage is complete. His lock reform beautifully within a short period of shearing. Hugo definitely has that special Elite Sire Attitude and it shows in his outstanding bright, rich dark color though his temperament is the standard gentle and easygoing nature. He continually puts luster, fineness, and density into his offspring. Take a look at the other Hugo offspring including Delano, MIss Molly Mae, Hugo's Fiona, Cherry Rouge, Mount Ellis all here at NRMA. Interested in owning Hugo? Hugo has done a great job for us here at NRMA and, as we all know, if we don't diversify our herd, we'll breed ourselves into a corner. With producing many great alpacas, it is our decision to let another ranch take advantage of the great strong lustrous herdsire. We'll entertain any offer.

Outstanding mother! Great fine fleece

Lofty Pines Ring Those Belles

AOA# 851170DOB: 11/20/200321 yrs
Belle has been a great asset to the success of NRMA. She is a great mother, has a very nice compact frame and produces great conformation, and fine consistent fleece at age 9! She does lack a little denisiy yet when bred to either Magnum or Hugo the density is corrected. The "Belle Line" has strong genetics for dark fawn and white head markings. Belle is being offered with her 2012 cria at side. Histograms stats: AFD: 24.8, SD: 5, CV: 20.8% (Yowza!), <30mic: 10.1%, MC: 14.4 - Did we mention she is 9 years old! Now check out the SHIP stats. Suri Network SHIP statistics Belle - 4.4.40625 avg. of the 15 phenotypic traits Magnum - 4.8125 avg. of the 15 phenotypic traits NRMA participated in the Suri Networks "Suri Herd Improvement Program (SHIP)". The primary goal of the SHIP program is to provide a variety of tools for herd improvement and management of Suri Phenotype and Fiber qualities for Suri Network members. The classification consisted of the following: A. The evaluation of 15 phenotypic traits based on the Suri Breed Standard and research data. B. A hands-on herd review by a certified Suri classifier using a point system for evaluating individual alpacas. The point system is a scale of 1 (low) to 5 (High) of each of the phenotypic traits. C. The collection of trait data for the Suri database and EPD programs. D. Owners receive a herd report that identifies strengths and weaknesses of individual animals for specific traits that can be used in selection, breeding and marketing of their Suris. This program included ALL suri alpacas on our ranch whether registered or not. We do have all of our alpacas registered.

Description

Mount Ellis, or Ellis for short, was named after a mountain near our alpaca farm here in Bozeman, Montana. Knowing alpacas tend to give birth between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, Anna and I hiked about 3.5 hours to the top of Mount Ellis and back to the house arriving just in time to witness this young stud presenting himself to the world. Ellis' dam, Belle, is very strong with throwing fawns with white face markings. Belle at age 9 remains to have a very fine fleece at 24.8 AFD! That's remarkable. Ellis is full sister to Hugo's Liberty Belle now owned by our good friends Montana Spanish Peak Alpacas. Liberty Belle was one of our best young girls and she too exhibits the soft vicuna look and fine fleece. We are excited to have another solid boy from our best dam and sire. Ellis will make a great addition to your genetic lines. He has such a great personality and adorable white face. Use him as a PR alpaca (everybody loves the white faces) or as a great fiber producer.
