AOV Accoyo Taser

Alpaca, Huacaya, Male | White

Full Accoyo

NWA, LTD Accoyo Prestige

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 822221DOB: 9/15/200024 yrs
Prestige is not retired from breeding but this listing is for reference purposes. Prestige is a white full Accoyo son of Pachacuti, who is now deceased. This wonderful male has had a very illustrious career in the showring, having won four blue ribbons, two color championships and a reserve color championship. All this was accomplished in very large level five shows against some of the most highly recognized herdsires in the country. He has presence and attitude which he infuses into his offspring. Additionally, he has proven to be a pre-potent herdsire, passing on his superior traits to his offspring; each cria that he has sired are a great representation of what this male can produce. They have developed high frequency bundling crimp, which is uniform in micron and character, on perfectly conformed frames. In November 2012, we decided to have Dr. Evans do a skin biopsy on Prestige as a 12-year-old breeding male. Knowing that the recommended age for doing such a skin biopsy is 18-24 months of age, we knew that we might be doing a disservice to Prestige. However, Dr. Evans’ comments proved us wrong. Here are his comments: “Prestige is awesome for a 12 year old male. Density of 62; secondary fibers still average 22.2 microns and his primary fibers still average below 30 microns with a spread of 7.4 microns. The average micron spread in 91 of the better males in 2011 was 8.22 microns. Prestige’s stats are very genetically strong for a 12 year-old. Most 12 year-old huacaya males that I have tested show 1/3 less density as well as fineness of fiber. This boy is ahead of his time.” The best part is that in addition to having super fineness, he tends to allow the dam’s color to pass through so you can anticipate color in the offspring while still achieving fineness of fleece.

Dam: SA Accoyo Aviana

SA Accoyo Aviana

Five first place ribbons, 3 color championships and 1 reserve color championship before she began her breeding career. Buy Aviana now and look forward to a 2017 Accoyo Flashback cria. Flash is an Enterprise son and a Royal Avenger grandson. Aviana is probably best known for producing AOV Accoyo Eros, now owned by The Alpaca Group and Amber Autumn Alpacas, both on the west coast. Eros was the second highest selling alpaca in the 2014 Breeders Edge auction. As a 16 month-old, he sold for an unheard of price of $30,000. She also produced Eros' full sister, AOV Accoyo Brilliance, now owned by West Penn Alpacas. Brilliance also earned numerous championships during her show career. Aviana is one of the best reasons we purchased Royal Avenger when we had the chance. Her half sister, Avenganza, is another reason. Both females are stylish and elegant and a wonderful representation of what Royal Avenger produces. Aviana is very feminine and elegant with some of the most outstanding fiber we have seen. It is one of the most advanced fleeces and is very consistent in uniformity and in micron from her front shoulder all the way down her back to her tail end--just what we should all be breeding for, according to one senior judge. She catches easily, has plenty of milk and takes her role of mother very seriously. And my, oh my, does she produce some astonishing offspring! Every single one of her cria is out of this world--absolutely stunning. This is a female that will always be a top producer for us; I call her our "golden goose". Transportation is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Description

What do you name a young male that is simply stunning? TASER seemed to be the appropriate choice. He is a male like none other. From the time his fiber dried off, he was not curly, but kinky curly. His dam is our multi-champion female sired by Royal Avenger. His sire, Accoyo Prestige, is also a multi-champion and a Pachacuti son. Taser has been highly scrutinized and appears to be flawless. He is very refined and regal with correct conformation and a correct bite. At his first show, which was only eight alpacas shy of a Level V show, the judge remarked about his highly organized and fine fleece along with his density and the consistency that carried throughout his fleece. Taser should be ready to breed now. Breed him to your females and see your herd improve.
