Prestige is not retired from breeding but this listing is for reference purposes. Prestige is a white full Accoyo son of Pachacuti, who is now deceased. This wonderful male has had a very illustrious career in the showring, having won four blue ribbons, two color championships and a reserve color championship. All this was accomplished in very large level five shows against some of the most highly recognized herdsires in the country. He has presence and attitude which he infuses into his offspring. Additionally, he has proven to be a pre-potent herdsire, passing on his superior traits to his offspring; each cria that he has sired are a great representation of what this male can produce. They have developed high frequency bundling crimp, which is uniform in micron and character, on perfectly conformed frames. In November 2012, we decided to have Dr. Evans do a skin biopsy on Prestige as a 12-year-old breeding male. Knowing that the recommended age for doing such a skin biopsy is 18-24 months of age, we knew that we might be doing a disservice to Prestige. However, Dr. Evans’ comments proved us wrong. Here are his comments: “Prestige is awesome for a 12 year old male. Density of 62; secondary fibers still average 22.2 microns and his primary fibers still average below 30 microns with a spread of 7.4 microns. The average micron spread in 91 of the better males in 2011 was 8.22 microns. Prestige’s stats are very genetically strong for a 12 year-old. Most 12 year-old huacaya males that I have tested show 1/3 less density as well as fineness of fiber. This boy is ahead of his time.” The best part is that in addition to having super fineness, he tends to allow the dam’s color to pass through so you can anticipate color in the offspring while still achieving fineness of fleece.

China had been bred to Accoyo Prestige and easily delivered a stunning May 2012 female cria, Ainsley. This multi-champion herdsire, Accoyo Prestige, has proven his ability to retain his fineness even at the age of 12. Not only was China's 2012 birth without any problems, but her cria gained a pound a day! Ainsley is amazingly crimpy. Ainsley is now owned by Triple Diamond C Ranch. She carries the genes for COLOR from her father, Get of Sire champ Royal Fawn. Full bodied, dense bone, dense fleece... Accoyo perfection. China has been bred to Enterprise, a multi-champion PROVEN herdsire that we own, for an April 2014 cria. He has demonstrated lingering fineness and even this early in his breeding career, he is producing some very outstanding show winners. Don't gamble by overlooking a proven female--a proven breeder and a proven mom. You should never take these attributes for granted.

Enterprise cria... criated to amaze! DRUM ROLL, PLEASE! Enterprise has now produced a true black full Accoyo son -- make that two TBs to his credit. You should see his babies! You're gonna want to breed your girls to him--his cria are really extraordinary. And... they range in color from white to fawn to brown to BB and TB. He has even surprised us with silver grey! There is no limit to the possibilities. It's all about "lingering fineness" and he has just given new meaning to it. 2008--17.8/3.2/18.0/0.5 2009--19.5/3.6/18.7/0.6 2010--20.6/3.5/16.8/0.7 2011--19.0/3.1/16.4/0.7 2012--21.6/3.6/16.6/1.5 2013--22.4/4.2/18.6/3.5 We had searched far and wide to find a dark colored full Accoyo male to add to our breeding program; and it couldn't be just any dark Accoyo male. Our criteria were pretty stringent. Correct conformation was a given, along with a perfect bite; genetics had to be some of the best in the industry. His fiber had to be super fine but he had to have remarkable density and a long staple length--it's not always easy to find all three characteristics co-existing in the same animal. And, it had to be radiantly bright with tight crimp. Not only all that, but he couldn't share the same bloodlines as most of our females. We were able to find all these qualities in this young male. So it is with great delight that we welcomed Accoyo Enterprise to our breeding program. He has already proven that he has a continued great future in our Accoyo breeding program. His fleece is characterized by exquisite independent bundling and brightness with a sharply defined crimp that extends to the belly and head; and a full topknot that resembles a mushroom! The best example of this amazing male's production is AOV Accoyo Eros. He's already been awarded 8 blues and 5 championships at a little over a year of age! Eros sold at the recent Breeders Edge Auction and was the second highest selling alpaca out of 77. $1500 for boarded breeding.

Description

CONSIGNED TO THE BREEDERS EDGE AUCTION ON AUGUST 25TH. This is a three-in-one—all full Accoyo. Often times we associate “predictable” with “boring and unexciting”. In the alpaca world, predictable is a good thing! Predictable means that Limoges settles easily; predictable means that she needs no assistance with birthing; and predictable means that she is a terrific mom with plenty of milk for her cria. More importantly, you are able to see, rather than just hope for, the high quality offspring that she produces. Her female cria, Lenox, was born on May 11th and was sired by our multi-champion MF herdsire, Accoyo America Enterprise. She has been dubbed “Happy Feet” because of her high energy. But the amazing thing is the fiber on this youngster. Right off the bat, her fine, beige fiber was buttery-soft with super-tight coils of fiber. The exceptional result of pairing Limoges with Enterprise, who is known for his enduring fineness, was enough to convince us to breed Limoges back to Enterprise once again. So, if “predictable” is what you are looking for in your breeding program, you will have the confidence of knowing that your 2013 cria will also be of the highest quality—no surprises!
