Jazzy is a full Peruvian light fawn alpaca out of black genetics, which include, MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite on her dam's side and her sire is Black Peruvian Royal Forest. She has a really lovely advanced fleece that took first in the 2007 AFCNA Fleece Show. It has exceptional staple length that bundles into match sticks with a high frequency crimp from root to tip. She is conformationally correct with a lovely balance to her frame. She has good coverage and a pleasing head. Jazz's 2009 cria is a white female out of Accoyo America Taj Mahal, standing stud at Brookhollow Farm, who has a promising fleece. Her 2010 cria is a medium brown female out of Moonlight that has been sold to Little Brushwood Alpaca Farm. Jazz's cria last year is a fawn male out of Cygularity's Santana, we have decided to keep him and see what he turns into.

Description

A solid, genetically desirable young male, we were pleased when our outside breeding to Santana, owned by Gore Mountain Farms to our Jazz produced this male. His dam is one of our favorite producers, she is medium fawn out of Peruvian Black Mesquite on the bottom and Peruvian Black Royal Forest on the top. His sire is a stunning medium fawn out of Cygularity, a true black Legacy son and the dam who sired the late Legacy's El Duro. He has a solid conformation, with square proportions, a level topline and a true to type huacaya look. He is a compact macho who thinks he's a giant! He fleece is truly amazing, with a long staple, perfect crimp structure in beautiful elegant bundles and bright as can be.
