When we purchased Moonlight to add to our breeding program he was a young unproven male with flawless conformation and incredible fleece. With the genetics of Hemingway and Bueno from his sire Royal Rose and Legacy from the incomparable Legacy Gold on his dam's side we knew he was a genetic winner. The question was, could he produce? A son of Snowmass Royal Rose and Snowmass Legacy's Moonlight combines the powerhouse genetics of Peruvian Hemingway, Peruvian Bueno and 4Peruvian Legacy. He has exceptional, balanced conformation with excellent bone and wonderful proportion. He has a majestic presence and proud stance. His fiber has a high curvature and fine micron for elite fiber production. And YES, he produces! Moonlight's first cria was beyond what we had hoped for with his father's conformation and amazing fiber. The crias kept arriving and what a surprise, we have black, bay black and fawn! Who knew he would produce such dark colors with his trademark high frequency crimp and perfect bundles? With over forty cria to his name, we could not be happier with his contribution to our breeding program. Update: Moonlight is limited to two outside breeding as we are currently working to promote his stellar offspring. We do still breed moonlight to some of our elite females.

Ivana is as solid as they come when you think about full Peruvian foundation females. We have kept this female on our foundation list since purchase so that she could produce for us and produce she has. Three very high quality female alpacas -- one in her spitting image, one in light rose gray and a fawn cria with a classic huacaya look. Ivana displays one of the finest colored fleeces we have seen. Full of high frequency bright crimp, the fleece oozes feel and quality. She has impeccable conformation, an elegant head and wonderful coverage. Ivana is sired by 6Peruvian 007 and her dam Isis is out of 5Peruvian Camelot making her a solid genetic base for breeding. Ivana has produced three exceptional female crias for us. A light brown out of Dark Fawn, a Rose Gray out of our full-Accoyo white Senator and a medium fawn out of our dark fawn, Moonlight. In 2010 Ivana produced her first male, a medium fawn out of Senator, he is as stunning as the rest of her offspring and was sold has a yearling for a breeding male.
