32189186<--ari-->Medium Brown<--color-->Ambrosia is one of my favorite production females. She is a stunning Peruvian/Bolivian mix that is a joy to have in the herd. She is not only a pleasure to look at, she is a pleasure to handle and a wonderful mother to boot. Ambrosia came to us from some friends in Canada. Shortly after her arrival she gave birth to a handsome medium brown male with black points. He was sold to a Whitehall Farm and we still hold breedings on him. In 2008, she gave birth to another stunning male, this time out of our herdsire, Senator. He was born right in the middle of an ice storm with no power to dry him off. I dried him in front of a heater while mom waited patiently for his return. He is also a joy both to behold and to handle. Her 2009 cria, Winter's Precious Jewel, is out of GMF El Duro's Maddux and is a stunning medium brown female. This is Maddux's first cria and she is certainly a pleasure to look at. Be certain to check out her listing. Her 2011 cria is a stunning dark brown male out of Moonlight, we had fun showing him at MaPaca this spring and he walked out of the ring with a 2nd place ribbon. Ambrosia has a beige male cria by side out of Total Eclipse of the Moon. Born on Memorial Day, we have named him Hidden Pastures Freedom.<--description-->
