PATAGONIA'S JUNEAU Patagonia's Juneau is a 5x Champion and 8x Produce of Dam Winner! She comes from a long line of champions. Juneau's sire is the legendary Patagonia's Lennox, and her paternal grandsire is none other than Danko. Her dam, Preciosa of Lonepine Ranch, is a Yupanqui daughter. Preciosa received 1st Place Produce-of-Dam at Alpacapalooza 2007, and 3rd Place Produce-of-Dam at the 2007 AWE. Juneau has a wonderful presence, tight uniform crimp, and a gorgeous head. Starlite, Juneau's half-sister, has a follicle count of 84.75 per SQ MM! At the 2007 AWE show, Judge Cathy Merkley: "I would love to have this alpaca on my farm. She is by far the most dense and has more fiber per square inch than any of the others." Judge Kevin O'Leary at the AOBA National Conference: "This female alpaca is head and shoulders the first place winner." At the 2010 Northwest Alpaca Showcase, Juneau won 1st Place, Huacaya Produce of Dam (Aurora and Arctic Rose). Judge Peter Kennedy said: "These two beautiful alpacas caught my eye the minute they walked into the ring. Extreme fineness & density, and strength of bone." Champion/Ribbon-Winning Offspring: In 2009, Juneau gave birth to a gorgeous MRG female sired by Patagonia's Amancio. Patagonia's Arctic Rose is a 12x champion, winning 8 Color Championships and 4 Reserve Championship banners in her career.
