Description

Syrah has really great luster and very nice handle. She was bred to Foothill's Aspan (5/8 Accoyo) who has phenomenal luster. This breeding gave us Athena. Syrah gave us Foothills Hadron in 2010- he is a lovely meduim brown male. She has been bred to Foothills Escalation for a 2011 cria. We can't wait to see this cria. Syrah's dam is a dark silver grey, so there is a very good chance Syrah will produce grey when bred for it. Syrah's sire Top Brass placed at the top of his class in the four shows in which he was entered in 2004, including 1st place at Alpacapalooza, and AWE and 2nd at AOBA Nationals. His fiber continues to lock up shortly after shearing and has fabulous luster. His consistently has passed on very fine fiber to his offspring.
