RIP 9/11/2019, due to complications from arthritis and pain medication. He was regal to his last day. Breeders describe their Constantino line as their very best...PRODUCERS!!! 15 years ago the judges called him the "future of the industry" and they were right. In 2016 two of his juvie sons, Bonafide (LB) and Travelin' Man (BB), earned 1st FFH in very competitive classes. Tino's show career lasted 5 years and he successfully competed with the best in the country. His fleece stats for fineness and weight from 12+ years ago are on par with today's show winners. Tino's fleece took four years to increase one point for Standard Deviation...on a hig plain of nutrition. Tino's 19m /17 CV super dense cria fleece never collected debris; 9 - 10 crimps per inch in '03 and '04. Shearing Tino's first two fleeces was difficult. They were so dense, fine and slick that his skin got pulled into the blades several times. JUDGE'S 2004 Halter Champion COMMENTS: "FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY", "consistently the finest of his competitors, outstanding fleece character & handle", "extremely fine and dense for his age" (AWE 05, Krieger, 33 mos.), "largest testicles, strength and structure, ability to move out freely, correct proportions and a well-conditioned fleece." Superb phenotype; even temperament; strong libido/early maturation; heavy lactation too! Tino placed in halter and fleece, above award-winning sons of both Accoyo Royal Fawn and Accoyo Legacy...two record high-selling herdsires, Running Late and others. ATV Delite

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 20023027DOB: 3/4/200618 yrs
We are extremely happy to have acquired a black female the from Rico de Peru and Snowmass Nova black lines. Many thanks to Lona Frank, Alpacas of Tualatin Valley, for agreeing to exchange our KCAF RRoyal Rhapsodee for ATV Delite. Delite's black fleece exhibits exceptional density, uniformity, fineness and handle. She has maintained textbook phenotype and her fleece has not grayed out with age. Delite is a paternal sister to our Reserve Champion, Carmelina. Their sire, Snowmass Nova's Nuance (owned by Alpacas of Tualatin Valley and Skyline Alpacas), is a stunning TB by Snowmass Nova, a son of the famous MSG, Snowmass Casanova (sire the incomparable P. Bueno). On her maternal side, she hails from the Accoyo Royal Fawn, Rico de Peru, 6Peruvian 007, and P. Gold Rush bloodlines.

Snowmass RRoyal Fox

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 30820500DOB: 7/21/200717 yrs
Fox is going on 17 and acts like he's 10. If you want better fineness EPDs and uniform, fine, pigmented gray fleeces with lots of crimps per inch and essentially no guard hair, he's the one! This line produces lingering 13 to 19 micron pigmented gray fleeces...consistently. Fox's first five fleeces were combined into one lot to make yarn at Heart and Soul and they commented on the uniformity of the lot. Thanks to his sire, Royal Bronze, Fox is a master at overall uniformity, removing guard hair and fining down fleeces and adding more crimps per inch, good staple length, along with deep and vivid colors. He's a SILVER GRAY, SNOWMASS BRED, AOBA NATIONAL COMPOSITE CHAMPION and well proven to produce healthy, correct, typey progeny! He is highly ranked for other traits too. He virtually removes all guard hair, including belly and bib. We attribute this amazing ability to his sire, Snowmass Royal Bronze, who is recognized by Julie Skinner as having recognized as having strong vicuna traits. Density? He has royal fine daughters (see Dream Catcher) with 4+ pound tui blankets and SDs in the 3s. Character? Gray daughter, Mellona, is 14.5 afd, 3.5 cv; 59 curve (not a typo) @ 21 mos. and then a 63 curve the next year! Uniformity? Hardly anything to skirt out of his progeny's fleeces. Offspring have very consistent, uniform and high yielding fleeces...Little to no skirting is needed for these big blanket fleeces. Primary and secondary fibers are very similar, even across colors in the gray fleeces, most of which are pigmented silver grays. In every offspring you will see higher frequency & amplitude crimp. ZERO to minimal guard hair...no matter the dam or color of the cria. You'll likely never see any guard hair on the belly of a Fox offspring. Soundness and health, correct phenotype, conformation and movement. Even dispositions and very intelligent...and even a few silly personalities. Certified Sorted graded Fox's 3 y.o. champion for "WORSTED applications". No W, LF or MF crias and no blue eyes. -Gray dtr, Kristiana (sold at AOBA auction): EPDs 2% fineness and placed: RC, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th; bought her back in 2024. -Gray son (Irish Meadows) - 1st Futurity. -Black dtr. (Irish Meadows) produced a black Champion son by Jacob Black. -Gray dtr. Rayna (Sold to Dusk Till Dawn Alpacas at AOBA auction for $16k)- 1st @ Alpacapalooza 2012; RC/2nd GMAF. -Gray dtr. Silver Truffles - Purchased by Alpaca Country Estates. Other grandkids are winning ribbons too.

Description

Bred 9/4/18. Excellent density and exceptional fleece character. Lots of Alianza in her pedigree. 2019: She still has nice aligned crimp from her topknot to the tip of her tail. Felecity inherited density and outstanding fleece character from both of her top quality parents. She also has very good staple length with that density. She has a richly cinnamon colored fleece and dark points. She has solid conformation, coverage from nose to toes and minimal visible guard hair. Felecity's farm name is "Chubs" because she keeps herself in very good body condition and she's so dense her fleece is completely closed, like a wall, making her look even more chubby. Felecity has excellent fleece architecture with that perfectly aligned crimp across the staple that grows out of the skin at an angle. All she needs is better fineness, so we bred her to Marquis! Very successful pedigree...in the shows and in production. Constantino - 5 years of blues and purples among top competition. Trufflina - 13 crias and beat P. Microsoft's fleece (2000,under judge Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas) P. Andrajo - A white from Alianza import, famous NW sire behind hundreds of award winners. Snowmass Nova - One of the best blacks. Snowmass Casanova - Most famous gray; Sold for $147k P. Bueno - "The Man". A white Alianza import...the most overall successful sire in our opinion. Rico de Peru - Gorgeous true black herdsire from the southeast. 6Peruvian 007 - True black sire. P. Goldrush - Quality foundation sire. Accoyo P. Royal Fawn - Sold for $600k.
