AOA# 31118149DOB: 5/5/200717 yrs
Now Available! Skyline Alpacas and ALPACAS of Tualatin Valley have decided after being blessed with several champion offspring from this amazing male to make him available to the concerning breeder. He is guaranteed fertile at time of sale! Silver Elation is a rare dilute silver gray with an incredibly soft, well bundled and consistent fleece without any spots that is so dense, it feels like a heavy carpet. This male was born with a distinct Classic Silver Gray pattern which all but disappeared as his fiber dried. Every person who has seen him has been impressed by this amazing fleece that appears platinum in color with white in the neck, bib, face and legs. When we took him to two shows in 2008, he was put into an indefinite class which did not allow him to show appropriately but he still won the Blue Ribbons in those VERY competitive classes. WOW! Elation has matured into a beautiful masculine male with good stature. Take a look at what a consistent and nice handling fleece we took off Elation at 3 years of age! (See his attached histogram). He has consistently produced close to 5 pounds of Prime Fleece every year! AND his offspring are all exhibiting LOW CVs!!! Elation's offspring are conformationally correct and we are very pleased with their eye popping fleeces! Take a look at his cria pictured and come back often to see new listed offspring. Silver Elation was the 2013 CABA Classic Get of Sire behind Accoyo America Navigator and HemiAccoyo Kashmir. Proudly Co-Owned with Skyline Alpacas! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ATV Mystery

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 31118132DOB: 3/14/200717 yrs
Sold! Congratulations to Jason and Corinne Cain of Aurora Australis Alpacas for their purchase of Mystery! Mystery is so friendly and easy going; even pregnant she always wants a kiss and chin scratch! Mystery joined our farm with her bay black female cria at side born 6/14/13 sired by Silver Elation. Her well grown and easy keeping cria was the evidence of her great mothering and excellent milk production. Mystery puts a lot into her cria which shows in her more lanky body style during her pregnancy and nursing. Her little girl cria, Sparrow Lark, has nice crimp, density, and softness, with a gentle spirit and great conformation -- truly a good foundation girl that we are keeping. We are already looking forward to breeding this little cria one day! Mystery has some exceptional grey bloodlines, as the granddaughter of both Mr. Roosevelt and Rayo del Sol, and is a great addition to a grey breeding program! We actually like Mystery quite a bit, and like what she had produced in her girl, Lark. She, and her girl, are sweethearts. We've had these diamond in the rough dams before that put everything in their crias, and they often surprise you! But, though our program is moving increasingly towards blacks and greys, we just don't have the room to keep everyone. So, we are opting to keep Lark in the herd and let another buy Mystery at a great price to build their foundation with her great production qualities. We had bred Mystery to Master Piece for a 2015 true black male. He has a nicely upright and balanced frame, moving easily with good confirmation. His fleece envelopes him, so you want to 'pet him' to fill his softness. His fiber is soft with moderate crimp. Excellent fiber to spin, especially with its inky blackness. Mystery will be held open through the winter, so you can choose her next breeding, at your farm or from our herdsire row at significant discount.

Description

Lark is a proven dam whose lineage and progeny speaks volumes for her. Your eye catches her quiet grace, free movement, and well-balanced frame decorated by her excellent coverage of black fleece. Along with her dark looks and boxy conformation, she offers crimpy fiber with great density, shine and handle to her crias. Lark's first born -- AutumnSun's Canyon Wren -- is a lovely medium brown girl sired by Annual's Bea-2 Bomber, 3X AOA champion & overall 9X champion light rose grey son of the invincible Aussie .38 Special. This vigorous girl has her dam's spot-on conformation and stately beauty adorned with a long and crimpy fleece. Lark is loaded with grey and black lineages. Her dam, Mystery, is true black dam with grey genetics out of Crescent Moon's Raylina, a medium rose grey champion producing champions. Skyline Alpacas (known for their grey & black program) says of this dam: "Raylina produces what we believe to be the "Premier Seed Stock" that we are striving for...." Mystery's medium silver grey sire, ATV Silver Magnum, is a grey champion son of Mr. Roosevelt as well as the sire of champion ATV Silver Elation, himself a sire of champions. With this parentage, it clear that Lark has the genetics to be an excellent dam in either or both a black and grey program. Lark was then bred to our true black 13x champion AutumnSun's Black Maelstrom to produce Starling who was sold in the 2019 Futurity auction. In 2019, Lark gave us a beautiful rich brown male by our herdsire Axios that has extremely nice fleece. He is Shakespeare. This boy doesn't sell at her side but can be negotiated separately. This year we repeated that breeding and got just what we wanted, a full sister to Shakespeare that looks just like him! Beautiful!
