Gunsmoke is one of North America’s top producing males, He is 100% Peruvian and has 100% Suri offspring with over 100 on the ground! Gunsmoke is famous for producing practically every color and pattern possible. No wonder Gail Cambell at Ameripaca says “waiting for Gunsmoke cria each year is like a treasure hunt, you never know what you’re going to get but you can be sure it will be beautiful”. Gunsmoke offspring fetch top dollar at auction including $42,000 for Midnight Marvel at the breeders Choice Auction and $33,000 for a fawn female, Trinket. Gunsmoke’s male offspring have sold for as high as $75,000 and no matter what color are producing grey. See Radar at Ravada Hills as an example of a fawn producing grey and earning ribbons! Gunsmoke’s female off spring are prepotent color producers with versatile breeding possibilities. Even white off spring (see Whitesmoke) have done well in the show ring. If you are looking to add some excitement to your breeding program bring your girls to see Gunsmoke, and start your own treasure hunt.

Applegate's MonaLisa

SuriBred (Female)White, Light Fawn
AOA# 83720DOB: 6/2/200024 yrs
MonaLisa is a very upright and sound suri with great coverage and lock structure along with outstanding luster. She is a proven producer of Champion Offspring and MonaLisa's 2003 Gunsmoke cria, Monet, is a beautiful appy girl who did well in the show ring: Reserve Champion and 2nd Place, 2003 Breeder’s Choice Futurity 2nd Place, 2004 Western Ohio Triple Crown. Monet sold at The Private Collection Auction in November 2004. MonaLisa's June 2004 Gunsmoke cria is a beautiful light fawn female who we have as a foundation female in our breeding barn. Moon Struck placed first at the 2004 Futurity! MonaLisa delivered her 3rd Gunsmoke cria - another beautiful female that is a brilliant white 17 pounder with light fawn ears. "Whitesmoke" is a stunning white Champion female. In 2005 MonaLisa bred to Condor's Warrior for a June 2006 cria. She delivered a white and medium brown male with beautiful fleece. His luster is amazing! In 2006 we bred MonaLisa to our Accoyo Camion son, USA Semejanzo. The two produced a gorgeous fawn and white male, Semejanzo's Leonardo. Leonardo is a 1/2 brother to Semejanzo's Affinity of SBFS that had an amazing show career and was Reserve Color Champ at the 2007 Futurity and 1st at Nationals! Leonardo is very similar to Affinity. Mona & Seme's 2008 daughter "Semejanzo's Trilliam" is a stunning light girl with luster and locks to spare. Wow is she nice! Mona and Peruvian Saber hooked up for an outstanding patterned male in 2009 named "Saber's Campion of SBFS". We have nicknamed him "Champ" and he is spectacular - Winning his class at the 2010 Futurity! In 2010 Mona delivered yet another girl, Stone Brook Pucara Artiste. Artiste took 2nd place at her first show in a class of 7 on March 27, 2011. Congratulations to Bruce, Myndee & Artiste!

Description

Moonstruck boasts a great lineage, her own show wins, and most notably a history of awesome crias. When she arrived on our farm though, she was below-weight from a tooth abscess. With medical care, she kicked that issue and has had weight regain and good health since then. Moon had lost her cria born right after after she had arrived, possibly due to her stress and health depression. We were sad to lose this dark brown Chakotah boy, but know that nature's course is often the best. Then, her next beautiful pattern girl was also lost, likely due to the fact that it was from an accidental breeding to her half brother Campion. We bought Moonstruck for her fantastic bloodlines from a retiring suri farm with many champions and and notable bloodlines. Moonstruck's fantastic crias were a large part of our selection of her.
