Snowmass Matrix is truly one in a million. The fact is this stud has the Premier genetics for high curvature and ultimate fineness. He is a compact robust and well proportioned stud, perfect overall score in frame, bite, body, and reproductive anatomy. He has a fleece that extends its superior qualities over his entire frame. Matrix has what we call a Merino x Vicuna style of crimp. He has a bit more organization in the expression of crimp than a true vicuna but a very high frequency of crimp indicative in the vicuna qualities. Snowmass Matrix Integrity, son of the notorious Snowmass Matrix, one of the most elite alpacas in the world that sold for $675.000 at the 2010 Celebrity Sales Auction, is a mere carbon copy of his sire only in a dark fawn version. We only recently started Integrity's breeding career on our farm and we are thrilled with his consistent and award winning offspring. We have found that Integrity greatly improves any "so so" dam, so much so, that we can hardly believe what we are witnessing.... it has been a "GASP" moment at birthing time for his crias. Integrity has a strong, bold boned structure demonstrating the coveted "typey" confirmation literally on steroids. His density is one of his strong points, along with phenomenal leg coverage, solid balanced stance, staying fineness as demonstrated in his stats and one of the most glorious "wedge" shaped heads we have ever seen. This guy delivers all of the above, plus an added "gorgeous" factor where all of his offspring have the biggest eyes and the longest eyelashes. Integrity's most recent offspring on our farm, Chappelle, is quite frankly one of our most lovely females we've ever produced and she just might be our first "silky". We are watching her closely and crossing all fingers and toes.
