CHAMPION AND MULTIPLE SHOW WINNING PRODUCER! An Accoyo Don Juan son, Altair is out of parents who are both Peruvian imports. His strong stature, conformation, density and fleece characteristics have placed him as Reserve Champion 2x's by senior AOBA judges. His crias are superb. He has sired multiple champion and blue ribbon offspring. They exhibit his density, bundling and coverage. Altair is curious and is very tolerant of human interaction. His crias also exhibit his easy to handle nature and strong presence. Altair has thrown more color than white when bred to white. He has every color on the ground, including rose grey and has even thrown a bay black from a white female. A lease, partnership or full sale would be considered for Altair. With 18 males born here in the last year, we are very short on male space.

Rock solid genetics and potency with DPA Quetzal (Accoyo Timoteo) and Mr. President bloodlines. She is very fine with a pleasing handle and bright fleece. Her 4 year Histogram (YM) is 20.7 mfd, with a curve of 46.7 Jonina's 2007 male cria, Mariner, who is sired by our multiple show winning Champion Peruvian Altair, is also available.

Description

Mariner is a 3rd generation show winner. His complete grandsire ancestry consists of 3 full Accoyo imports, Don Juan, Timoteo and Mr. President. Shown at halter as 7 month old juvie, he placed 4th under A. VandenBosch at GWAS (level 5). Took a 5th in a big competative class at 2008 Fall Fest under Wade Gaese. He has a consistent beige fleece that is very fine (19.9 micron), dense with complete coverage. He’s very correct in conformation and a very attractive head style. Excellent disposition! Probably the most similar in his trusting personality to his sire, Peruvian Altair. We would retain some breed backs.
