Lord Stirling, our pride and joy from Captain Nemo. This guy has 10 blue ribbons, 2 color championships and 1 reserve championships. He has even beaten some of those big boys you always hear about! And what a love! Stirling has a dynamic personality, a great temperment and a pleasure to watch in the fields or in the ring. The very first class he was in (Mapaca in 2007) was quite an interesting class. Amanda proclaimed that it had the best group of Juvie greys she had seen. She certainly wasn't wrong--The 1st through 5th places had all gone on to champion or reserve champion. I find that really interesting. We are proud that our Lord Stirling was in that group. Obviously he (and they) have gone onto many rewarding wins. Rob made me retire Stirling from the ring now that he is breeding, but I look at him out in the fields and I see no difference in him now..or even the past year or two! Still a sight. Stirling has had exceptional crias. And did I mention that he is a mush. Okay - a herdsire that is a mush? Well he is. We love to have him around. See what he can do for your herd! He is a mush with great cria!! check them out!!

Description

The promising young male is the son of the multi-champion male Lord Stirling and grandson of the amazing Captain Nemo! Oliver appears to have it all. He is solid true black with no spots, and his fleece is showing good density, character, and handle. He is a big boned boy that stands tall and proud with balance and squareness. Oliver is named for Oliver Heaviside, who was a self-taught English electrical engineer, mathematician, and physicist who adapted complex numbers to the study of electrical circuits, invented mathematical techniques to the solution of differential equations, reformulated equations used to describe electric and magnetic forces and energy flux, and independently formulated vector analysis. Heaviside also advanced the idea that the Earth's uppermost atmosphere contained an ionized layer known as the ionosphere. Although at odds with the scientific establishment for most of his life, Heaviside changed the face of mathematics and science for years to come. His most famous quote was: "Why should I refuse a good dinner simply because I don't understand the digestive processes involved?" Contact us for more information on Oliver.
