UPDATE: We now have photos from our customers of their fawn Ivan daughter. She was born Fall of 2012 and is gorgeous. Her is named Prim and they are expecting great things of her. Ivan is still throwing wonderful cria! Ivan is my boy. He is a wonderful creature and I love him dearly. Due to all of our other males, Ivan does not see much use here. I want the best for Ivan, and I think he is still a quality herdsire who throws lovely cria. I believe he needs a few more crias on the ground. Therefore, I wish to sell as a breeding male. Contact us if you are interested. Sir Ivan joined our herdsire row in fall 2008. Ivan is a National blue ribbon winner who placed ahead of many well known males in the show ring, including the well respected PCA Sparticus of Pacific Crest Alpacas/Accoyo America. Sir Ivan is a multiple 1st place award-winning male who exhibits very correct conformation, dense fleece with very bold crimp, large bone, and coverage from head to toe. Sir Ivan has a very proud, majestic presense, and he passes this trait on to all of his progeny. Ivan has produced several top award-winning offspring in a broad array of colors including grey, lavender, true black and dark fawn. For example, Ivan's son Grand River Kiray is a multiple first place and champion black herdsire who was part of the outstanding stud row at Fleecy Dale Alpacas of New Jersey. Sir Ivan has improved the qualities of all of the females he has been bred to in their offspring. All of his crias exhibit very fine, dense fleece, as well as large bone, wonderful coverage and show presence. Ivan's own sire, Serono, is known to have maintained his low micron and fineness into his later years. Like his sire Ivan has maintained his fineness as her as aged as well. Sir Ivan still looks great even with his advancing age, with conformation and poise exceeding his pasture friends who are much younger! Don't pass up this opportunity to add the genetics of a National blue ribbon-winning proven herdsire to your herd. (Note that no championship awards were offered in AOBA shows when Sir Ivan was shown in 1999.) Ivan can add exceptional, square conformation and low-micron fineness to your next cria! Use him to soften the fleece of your coarse, dark females. ***Ivan's price has been reduced, and he has received less use due because of the number of other quality males we possess. Ivan has FANTASIC conformation, even at his age. He stamps PERFECT conformation on all his crias, as well as very fine fleece. Ivan has a large amount of experience as a sire and has thrown every color of fleece in his cria.

Description

This cute little brown boy is cute, curious, and mischievous. Out of our own Josefina and Sir Ivan, little Johnny has soft dark brown fleece in a bright maroon shade. He will be the perfect pet or fiber male for a lucky owner! Johnny is named for English meteorologist John Dalton, who switched to chemistry when he saw the applications in chemistry of his ideas about the atmosphere. Dalton proposed the Atomic Theory in 1803, stating that all matter was composed of small indivisible particles termed atoms; atoms of a given element possess unique characteristics and weight; and three types of atoms exist: simple elements, simple compound molecules, and complex molecules.
