Vaquero is one of the most put together males you may run across.
He closely resembles his grandsire CPeruvian Silvio 106 IMPF98(Wonderful Bloodlines). And you can absolutley see the resemblence. He is also the son of Salix.
Vaquero is very respective and a gentle breeder. And a wonderful disposition.
Vaquero's back ground is Solid Medium Silver Grey on his Fathers Side &
Solid True Black on his Mothers Side as far back as recorded!

Dam: FCA Josefina
Josefina is one of our newest additions to the Whispering Willows herd. She has extremely soft, fine fiber with low micron, wonderful handle, and uniform crimp. Josefina is a strong foundation female with good bone and square conformation. She is an excellent mother with plenty of milk production.
Josefina has a nice, balanced lineage. Her father was the well known 5Peruvian Silverado 9042, a 1997 import from the Sollocota cooperative of Peru. Her mother's lineage includes two impressive Chilean herdsire imports: SA Karrington and SA Huckleberry. These all ancestors represent important and established bloodlines in the grey American alpaca herd.
Josefina just gave birth to a cute solid black baby boy our of the silver grey stud LAR Vaquero. Vaquero is the son of the well known Silver Salix, and grandson of the legendary CPeruvian Silvio 106 IMPF98.
Josefina will be bred soon to our own Sir Ivan for a June 2011 cria.

Description
This little guy that we call "The Professor" was born of two silver grey parents, and has very soft, fine fleece.
The Professor, or "Jimmy," was named for Professor James Moriarty, the fictional character known as "the Napoleon of crime," who was the literary antagonist of the detective Sherlock Holmes. Though he appears in only two of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories about Holmes, Moriarty has become known as the detective's arch-enemy, a criminal genius who rules the underworld of London. Holmes describes Moriarty as: "...the organizer of half that is evil and of nearly all that is undetected...He is a genius, a philosopher, an abstract thinker. He has a brain of the first order."
We have lowered the price on this cute little guy to make him available as a pet or fiber boy. While he has nice, soft fleece with character, he lacks the density we would like to see in a herdsire. The Professor is also available in a package with his buddy Eddy, and we'd like to see them go to the same new home together if possible.
