Accoyo Cabos

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn

Our 1/3 interest is for sale, please call for details. Hes affordable for any farm, great opportunity! He fixes conformation, adds bone, passes along brightness, and creates offspring with PRESENSE!!!!!! Breed him to fineness, he passes on the fineness. He is a Pleasure to own. Easiest animal to handle on the farm! Full Accoyo, SOLID medium fawn! Cabos exudes character from personality to fiber. Take a look at his fleece pics and view his very organized 15 micron fiber character . Keep in mind that his fleece is less than 2" staple in these pics(hi-frequency crimp). Cabo's character should be a welcomed site for all breeders who breed for colored fine fleece. In the showring, he is competing strong with NO full Accoyos placing above him. His major weakness? being a male born in April makes it tough to compete against older mature males. Carolyn and I have been searching a couple years for fawn males to breed to our over-achiever 12X Champion Miss Priss and 5X Champion Crystal. Then, we ran into CABOs........OH My! We bought this male primarily with Priss and Crystal breedings in mind, however, he will be bred to most of our top females. He is truly one of the overall nicest fawn males we have ever seen. Congratulations to Jack and Denise of Legacy Criations for producing such an incredible male. Cabo is the complete package for a fawn male. He has one of the most organized fleeces we have ever seen. His brightness is suri-like. A Histogram documenting a 15 micron was a pleasant surprise. Although, it shouldn't be a surprise given Cabos dam has a 17 micron at 2.5 years of age. He has extreme density with extreme leg coverage. His style of crimp is high frequency with rare high definition. Heavily boned. Crimp from his toes to his tail, neck and head are phenominal. Cabox is very uniform throughout, even down under his belly! His consistent medium/Dark fawn coloring throughout his body is gorgeous but his tail gives us a pleasantly crimpy medium brown coloration. Remember,he is Full Accoyo?

Accoyo Felix's Moraine

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 823518DOB: 8/7/200024 yrs
This past year, Moraines crias, Balbina and Sasha, Chiquita posted the following microns 15 AFD age 2 for Balbina, 18 microns at age 4 with 3 micron avg difference between Primarys and secondays(Sasha), and her 12 month old daughter (Chiquita) came in at 13 AFD......this was recorded at 12 months old NOT 1 day old! Nice opportunity to purchase one of our lingering Fine foundation females with awesome bloodlines at a low point in the market. Sieze the Day!...... But it wont break my heart if nobody buys. Moraine has held on to her fineness pretty well with an 8 yr old micron of 25. She is sold with a 7/8ths Accoyo fawn Cabos offspring at side. Moraine is an Accoyo Felix daughter, and Accoyo Victor grandaughter. She has given us 6 girls and 2 boys! Most of which tend to be show winners with Low microns. is it crazy to sell her? We have never offered Moraine up for sale until Now. This year she has an Accoyo Cabos son, 7/8ths Accyo fawn . She is being sold with cria at side A proven producer of color, Moriane gives us something to look forward to each year. Moraine is a very rare 3/4 Accoyo/ with the remaining 1/4 from the Macho Accoyo Region. Some might say she is "full Accoyo" Moraine has some very impressive bloodlines. Moraine is "Felixy" FINE and "Victoriously" crimpy. WE shouldn't underestimate her Dam's contribution here: She has incredibly fine fiber as well, and Moraine's granddam, Elizabeth(on the dam's side) still maintains a 20 micron at 10 years old!!!.She is the sister to NWA, LTD Jean, dam of Barringer and the $7500 per breeding, Jericho. Moraine is very large boned with a nice straight topline. She has beautiful peach colored crimp along with good density Moraine has produced a rosegrey girl, and a Dark brown girl, when bred to a silver gray sires. She produced 3 other fawn females and a white female, all of which were 15 micron or under at age 1.

Description

Chiquito is a perfect fiber male. He comes from lingering fine bloodlines with extreme brightness. Very mellow male with a very sweet position. who gets along with everyone. I just sold his fleece for $150 My man ,Chiquito is up for auction again. Love this guy. Absolutely adorable and probably will become your farm favorite. Some have asked us if he could be used as a herdsire. In our opinion, he is fine enough, bright enough, dense enough, typey enough, excellent conformation. The only thing he lacks is fiber character at this point as you can see his fleece pic at age 5 months. For us the character has to be there to be used as a herdsire, but spinners love this guys fleece. But look at his genetics! Accoyo Victor, Accoyo Felix, Accoyo Cabos, Accoyo Express, Accoyo Camillo....might be worth a shot to try him. Typical AROSA fineness Histogram stats 2012 17.34 4.09 23.57 100.0 age 1 2013 20.5 3.59 17.51 98.78 age 2 Chiquito is put togehter quite nicely, but small about 85 lbs at one year. Super fine, super bright and great coverage. This is a boy we will need to be patient to reap the rewards. Both Parents have produced champions and this guy has potential. Stay tuned. Im told spinners love this type of fleece that some have named silky. Great personality very easy to manage.
