This guy may be one of the best kept secrets in the business. If you are looking for a truly superior stud male - with the documentation to back it up - you owe it to yourself to consider LIBERTY: In 2007, skin biopsies from Liberty were sent to both Dr. Evans and Dr. Watts for analysis. The results are almost unbelieveably excellent: over 111 follicles/ square mm (Dr.Norm Evans). Call and I will send you the actual results. Let me know if you can find a white male for sale with better biopsy results than this! The fact that he placed when shown in spite of a leg injury sustained at an early age speaks volumes about his quality. Liberty has a very typical Accoyo/Alianza look and fleece character. Talk about a well-organized fleece with small, dense staples and distinct, high frequency crimp! Sire - Accoyo Franklin, Felix son of pure Accoyo lineage. Everyone knows about Felix, through the quality and fineness of his offspring. One of the handfull of FAWNS imported from Accoyo. Dam - A classic Alianza female, NWA Ltd. Louise is a superb daughter of one of the greatest sires ever: Hemingway. Still attractive and vigorous at 18+ years, her fleece exhibits the density and crimp that her sire was famous for imparting to his get. Liberty splits his time between Sixth Day Farm East in Hilton, NY and Sixth Day Farm West in Wellington, CO. Due to the excellent results we have seen in his offspring, his stud fee is being increased to $2000. However for anyone who purchases stud services prior to July 1, 2016 we will continue to honor the previous fee listed here of $1000. Description

At this price Value is just that: another bargain in high-end huacaya genes! "Genetically speaking, Value's sire and maternal grandsire are each the result of a linecross between alpacas from the Accoyo and Alianza lines. The resulting f1 was backcrossed to another Alianza line animal to produce Value's dam. Additionally, Value is also mildly linebred, with a 25% relationship by pedigree to the great Hemingway, acheived by crossing a direct Hemingway grandson to a direct Hemingway granddaughter. This means that Value has the same degree of relationship to Hemingway as if he was a direct Hemingway grandson himself, (as calculated by the average percentage of genes inherited in each generation beyond the parent generation). Linebreeding allows a breeder to retain a high degree of genetic relationship to one outstanding individual, though that ancestor may be many generations back in the pedigreee, and perhaps deceased. Additionally, linebreeding offers the opportunity to select outstanding offspring of the traget ancestor to insure that thet desired traits of the target ancestor are being preserved and maybe intensified." Linda Marie McWilliams Bottom line: Value has been selectively bred using scientific principles of selective breeding to stamp his offspring with the traits that the Accoyo herd is known for: density, well-defined crimp; AND the fleece qualities that made the Alianza alpacas famous: lasting fineness, uniformity of micron, and high frequency crimp.
