An impressive pure Alianza Peruvian, Bravado is our foundation herdsire - in the true sense of the word: the male we built our breeding program on. This guy is fineness personified, with flawless conformation. Just look at the beautiful bundling in his fleece. His micron count at his ninth shearing was 21.8! That's LASTING fineness. Bravado is the result of combining the finest and most proven Peruvian alpaca genetics in North America: Bueno and Hemingway. Bueno is owned by Mike & Robin Tierney of MapleBrook Farm. His stud fee was $10,000, until he stopped breeding about a year ago. Bueno has sired over 100 winning offspring, and we believe Bravado is one of his best. Bravado's dam, NWA,Ltd Marcie contributes another line of proven superior genetics: the world famous Hemingway. Marcie's dam is Macarena, making her a full sister to well known sires Predictor, Hektor and Handsome. Bravado's crias have fantastic fleeces! Don't take my word for it, come see for yourself. Bravado is proudly co-owned with Ben and Gina Morgan of Morgan's Fortunato Farm. Breedings can be arranged at either farm. Call or email today to reserve yours. Bravado had skin biopsies evaluated by both Dr. Norm Evans and Dr. Jim Watts; call to see a copy! Siring CHAMPIONS, including: AlpacaPalace Houdini OutbackAlpacas Ezekiel - brown! Description

This is one special little macho cria! His dam is MFI Peruvian Dandelion, a daughter of Dakotia which makes her a granddaughter of Bueno. His Sire is Maple Brook Bravado, a Bueno son and Hemingway grandson through his dam Marcie. This makes Defiance not only a Bravado son, but nearly a Bueno son as well with 37.5% Bueno "blood". If that is not spectaular enough in itself, he is an extremely bright medium fawn color. Take a look at the fiber in this photo. I have seen Suris without that much luster. Top it off with a great conformation, see the other photos. Why would we ever sell him? Well, quite frankly he is the wrong color of white for our long range breeding program or he would never leave the farm. Last but not least, he has that fantastic Alianza fineness inherited from both Bueno and Hemingway. This truly is what Amanda calls "the total package". Defiance had skin biopsies evaluated by both Dr. Norm Evans and Dr. Jim Watts. ====Follicles per sq. mm==S/P Ratio= Watts....... 46.3.............. 7.3 Evans....... 73.75 ............ 8.1
