We consider Dandelion part of our foundation herd because her fleece is so exceptional, she is a daughter of the famous Peruvian Dakotia, and she gave us the fantastic Bravado daughter Bravado's Diamond. If she can produce cria like Diamond we would have to get a very high offer to let her go to someone else's farm. She had her second Maple Brook Bravado cria two days ago, November 28, 2005, and although it is a little early to make predictions it looks likely that he will be just as nice as his sister. He has a marking that I have never seen on an alpaca before, a dark brown STRIPE that goes all the way around his tail. Dandelion will be bred again in 21 days. October 2007 update: Dancer was such a hit that Dandelion has been breed once more to Handsome. The cria is due in January of 2008 May 2008 update: Dancer's little brother, Handsome Dasher, was born right on schedule in January. July 2009---Bravado's Dan is born.
