Aurora's sire is Snowmass Wild Fire, she is a beautiful dark brown MacGyver granddaughter. She has a gorgeous maroon fleece, with such amazing luster. Aurora is a dark 1/4 accoyo suri alpaca. Her first cria was born May 30th 2008, and she is so full of luster and locks. Her name is Jackson Brown's Shimmer our Fleece Show Champion, and Judges Choice (more than 200 fleeces) was sired by Jax Accoyo Jackson Brown, making her 5/8 accoyo.
Aurora gave birth to another amazing baby girl on 6/26/2009 at 20.6 lbs. This baby girl was sired by Shasta Springs Ashton when he was only 23 months old, this is Ashtons first cria and she has it all. You have to see Yana to believe the amount of luster she has, she is a bay black with a beautiful maroon colored face.
Aurora has consistantly put out amazing traits, the luster she passes to her cria is unbelievable and the density is incredable. All of her cria are very large boned and very easy to handle, none of them are kickers. Her first 2 girls had the privilege of going to visit my grandmother at the nursing home.
Aurora gave us a healthy, friendly cria in Sept. 2010 named Borealis and he just placed 2nd at the MAPACA Jubilee, April 8th 2011. The judge loved his conformation... "exhibiting a statuesque presence as he entered the ring". Borealis has very dense fine fleece. He likes to come over to me to be touched, he is very affectionate and beautiful.
Aurora is bred to Mahogany Prince's SPIRIT, Aurora is from the Bruxo, MacGyver bloodline, so this will be one amazing cria. Aurora gave birth to a gorgeous dark brown boy named Prince, born on her due date 5/21/2012. His birth weight was 15.6 lbs. and is doing great as Arora is a wonderful mother with plenty of milk.
She gave birth to another Spirit baby in June 2013, and he is a gorgeous dark brown named King.
We bred Aurora to our very beautiful grey herdsire Shadow and she was due to give birth in October 2013. Aurora gave birth in September 2014 to a set of twin girls, one true black and the other bay black. We named the bay black twin Miracle because she was born weighting only a wee 3 lb. 12 oz. Miracle will be 2 in September and will be leaving the farm with her mom.
