"Sierra Bonita’s Sirius Black is the full Peruvian Macgyver son who has a place of honor in our herd, number one next to his Sire. He is the most incredible black suri I have seen. True black, dense, lustrous, with locks completely independent at the skin. As a Juvenal, he won 1st and champion at the level 5 Great Western alpaca Show in Denver. 1st place at the Futurity, and 1st and reserve champion at AOBA National Conference. Feb. 2006 he won 1st place and Color Champion in Fort Worth Texas. He won 1st at the IAO in CA and on April 1st, won 1st and Color Champion in Puyallup WA. He won 1st and Reserve-Color Champion at the Futurity, 1st and Color Champion at MAPACA and 1st and Color Champion at PAOBA. Sirius finished his show season by winning 1st and National Black Color Champion in Kentucky at the AOBA National Conference. His Dam, Peruvian Starlette, has produced only champion offspring including Sirius’s full siblings, Celestina, Synergy, and Macgyverson. His sire, Macgyver has won “Herd Sire Of The Year” 4 years in a row." <--description-->
Dam: Pucara Evita
31041942<--ari-->White<--color-->Pucara Evita is from one of our best lines...the same line that produced Pucara Kahuna's Eden and Futurity blue ribbon winner Coco Ho. Evita is the daughter of our herdsire NGG Bentley who is a medium brown Accoyo Uribe son and she has reliably produced dark colored cria when bred to color in 2005 and 2006.
Evita is a well put together girl who although not phenotypically your best looking girl she produces very very well. After all she is eight years old. For her age she shows off great luster, relative density and fairly good penciling.
In livestock breeding its all production of progeny and this is where Evita should be a great buy for a discerning breeder BECAUSE HER CRIA ARE OUTSTANDING....especially this one that is at side.
However this price does not include that 2010 female cria, Pucara Herradura's Tequila, a Pucara Herradura girl, opposite in the pics. New pics of this startlingly good cria will come when the rain stops! But she can be purchased seperately for $15,000. She is in our show team and is very very good! She won her first championship at NWAS in 2011 plus had several other ribbon wins. See the Youtube video.
Pucara Evita is remated to Pucara Herradurra again this spring because the cria is that good, its in our show team as a white...it has to be good..amongst the best in the country to get into our white show team.....THERE IS YOUR SIGN!.

Service Sire: LCA Huckleberry de Latah
The video is of Huckleberry kids Holokai and Sumbawa winning the Championsip and Reserve championship at NWAS 2011.
Our new partners Jack and Kelly Armstrong, the most knowledgable suri breeders we have ever met, now of Pure Suri Breeding Company, have been keeping this boy under wraps. Thats a long story. Suffice to say he's now here and working like a pro! He is a superb representation of superb genetics. A mahogany dark brown "Huck", as we call him, brings double Bruxo genetics in proven lines. Huck was tested by the Watts method to have the highest follicle density of any colored suri male tested to date. He also has an excellent 11.4 to 1 secondary to primary follicle ratio.
This boy exhibits luster plus, good fineness, tight uniform pencilling and as his skin biopsy testing tells us, very good density. Its on a conformationally correct frame exhibiting strong bone complimented by Huck's studly presence and regal disposition.
"Huck's" 2010/2011 production has been amazing. We should have used him more! His cria are fabulous, nearly always darker than the dam's color but always dense, glistening with luster, superbly fine. They are already winning champioships. One is already earmarked as a potential stud male for our use! See Sumbawa to the right.

It is always hard to let go of your foundation females. Kalani is one such girl that we got from breeding several females like her mom Evita to Sirius Black when we campaigned him at our Oregon farm. The offspring have been rich in color and fiber traits that we like here.
Kalani shows off incredible luster and density even at five years old. Her last years cria out of Kahuna is a beauty and the reason we can let Kalani go. If you study her lineage you'll see we have on offer a girl that boasts the leading genetics in color and white here in the US. Her father, the reknown herdsire Sirius Black is an ex Dark Herdsire of the year at the Futurity and a producer of consistent high quality progeny. Of course his background via Macgyver and his mother who with every cria had produced a champion is hard to equal. The dam of Kalani, Pucara Evita, has been a stellar performer for us and comes from the Uribe and Fuego line. Her cria like Herradurra's Tequila are quality as per Tequila's show record shows.
Kalani shows off a silky soft honey colored fleece with an abundance of luster and slick handle that density along with fineness produces. This combined with the breeding to our super fawn stud Chakotah's Wyuna who promises to throw luster plus on heavy cutting weight fleeces like his sire, Chakotah, is a heavy combo. The colors match. The fiber traits match. The chance for a blossoming of hybrid vigor is huge.
She is open.
