We are very excited about the offspring hitting the ground from our full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futurity! Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that a white Michelangelo offspring he judged at AOBA had "the finest fleece he'd had in his ring all day! Herdsire discounts from SSF do not apply to Michelangelo breedings. We will begin booking a few limited outside breedings for 2008.

Description

Veronica is an Alianza-Accoyo daughter of full Alianza Victoria and full Accoyo Michelangelo. The intent of this breeding was to add the density/fineness of Michelangelo to the brightness and retained fineness of Victoria and the result is everything we hoped. Veronica is a proven producer having produced a beautiful 2013 female cria at side out of our Accoyo Augustine. Veronica is a mid-sized white female with nice staple length and a dense/fine fleece. She is an excellent mom and is ready to be rebred. As we rarely show, Veronica has not been in the show ring but her full sister, Verona, was a level-5 color champion in halter (Buckeye Alpaca Show). Her bloodlines are outstanding as you can see in her pedigree which includes 5Peruvian Inca's Ransom, PPPeruvian Ancestra (from Snowmass Alpacas), Accoyo Michelangelo, Accoyo El Nino, Accoyo Caligula and Accoyo Sunipani. If you are looking for a top producing white to add to your breeding program with Alianza/Accoyo crossed ancestry then Veronica is an excellent choice. We will include a breeding to any of our studs including our (lt fawn) champion Accoyo Rubio, multi-champion (white) Accoyo Korona, (color champion and best in show fleece - white) NorthCoast Icarus, or champion fawn NorthCoast Dante'.
