We are very excited about the offspring hitting the ground from our full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futurity! Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that a white Michelangelo offspring he judged at AOBA had "the finest fleece he'd had in his ring all day! Herdsire discounts from SSF do not apply to Michelangelo breedings. We will begin booking a few limited outside breedings for 2008.

Description

Angelo is a full Accoyo Michelangelo son with fine, dense, bright fleece. This is a complete package full Accoyo stud who is already proven with several cria on the ground and more on the way. When we sold our share in Michelangelo, Angelo and his full brother Augustine became very busy picking up the breeding load so we decided to keep them both. Now we have sufficiently bred these two across the herd we can sell one. Michelangelo is well known for his extreme density (107 follicles/sq MM) which is the highest to date measured by Dr. Norm Evans. He also is extremely uniform with fleece on his belly and apron with similar crimp and lock structure to his mid-blanket fleece, something we had never seen before. You could include his apron in with his prime fleece even at age 4! Angelo is slightly larger in frame than Michelangelo and is pure white. He has the same head and body type and his fleece has the density and handle of his dad. If you are looking for a top line full Accoyo to go to work and improve your herd immediately, then Angelo is one you need to see!
