Saggio of Bolivia AON

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 1234442DOB: 6/18/200420 yrs
Saggio is a full Bolivian male out of Silas of Bolivia, who is now gone. Saggio's fleece is extremely dense and crimpy. It has lost a little staple length wih age, but that's common with a male being used all the time. His offspring have shown the same fiber with fineness to boot. He has a very gentle disposition and has also passed this on to his cria. There aren't too many full Bolivians left out there, so at $500 stud fee, you can't go wrong. Saggio is up for sale because I am very limited on females for him since he is related to many of them. He has many offspring out there, many of them female and many of them ribboned in shows. I have three of his girls here at this time so you can see the results of his breeding or you can check out the ARI to see some of the results. I don't show a lot so I don't have a lot of ribbons for him, but I feel Saggio would make anyone an excellent herdsire for many years to come. I would really like him to go to a farm that will use him for breeding, so make me an offer. Saggio will be going to the auction in April if he doesn't find a home. I hate to see that happen. Make me an offer of possibly a trade. Saggio will be going to Shinglehouse to Hyde-Away Alpaca Farm. Thanks Don and Pat.

Gianna AON

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 30886261DOB: 7/1/200717 yrs
Gianna is a very nice true black out of Synopsis Nocturna with very nice crimpy fleece. She lacks a little in staple length which Is why I bred her to Saggio. The results was a beautiful crimpy light fawn girl with crimp from head to tail. Gianna is bred to Snowmass Camanchero for a late July baby.

Description

Sage is beautiful! She has lots of soft, dense, crimpy fiber as well as great conformation. Can't wait to show her this spring. Update: Sage came in fourth out of a very large beige class with great comments from the judge. Just got her fiber stats and her micron was 17.8. Not bad coming from a black mom. Sage has had one cria but didn't conceive this year. I have too many here to keep her another year so she is for sale at fiber animal price. I had her fleece sold every year to a hand spinner who just loved her fleece. I don't know of any reason why she wouldn't conceive again if you wanted to try.
