Quality Producer!

Old Fields Betty

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30386280DOB: 9/22/200618 yrs
This lovely, robust Cool Fire daughter is a proven producer of quality offspring. She possesses dense medium brown fleece with beautiful luster and a nice slick hand. She's a gentle girl to handle and work with, and all of her crias have the same laid-back disposition. She has a wonderful pedigree (her sire, now deceased, was a Fuego son and 1/2 brother to Mahogany Prince) full of deep color. Betty would make a fabulous Peruvian outcross, being unrelated to Torbio, Uribe, Bruxo, or MacGyver. We are retaining Betty's 2010 cria, Zena's ZsaZsa, for our breeding program. ZsaZsa has a stack of blue ribbons from shows across the country, in both halter and in spin-offs.

Service Sire: Zagato of PVA

Four time champion!

Zagato of PVA

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 31087353DOB: 6/16/200816 yrs
Sired by none other than the legendary Torbio, and out of Zara of PVA, daughter of Montoya of PVA and granddaughter of PVA Mahogany Prince. He’s a winner all the way around! In the show ring, Zagato won top honors show after show, with four championships. Zagato continues to be in the top 5% EPDs for standard deviation. Zagato is a fabulous breeder, loves his work, and loves his girls! Zagato's offspring show exceptional luster and locking, and have included solid true black.

Fantastic mom!

Description

This young female was the perfect alpaca to start a breeding program with. Not only does she come from proven genetics, but she consistently produces fiber that comes back from the mill as Grade 1. In fact, her yarn is some of the first to sell out. The same is true of her full sister, Zena's Peruvian ZsaZsa. 'Boop' has also excelled in the show ring, winning a blue ribbon at the 2011 Alpacas in the Ozark regional show in her respective class. She has a very calm disposition and is easily handled by experts and novices alike. She is unreleated to Bruxo, Torbio, Uribe, or MacGyver. Boop delivered a stunning dark (dark!) brown female cria on 5/6/2015 by multiple Champion herdsire, Zagato of PVA. This little girl has it all! Great luster, incredibly soft handle, and coverage from her ears down between her toes! It doesn't get any better than this.
