Sire: Cool Fire
30386280<--ari-->DB<--color-->Cool Fire, now deceased, was the famous son of Peruvian Fuego and half-brother to PVA Mahogany Prince. He produced, time and time again, sensational show-winning offspring. This magnificent herdsire was deep chocolate in color, had unbelievable fiber coverage and, at twelve years of age, his fiber still had a very nice handle. He was truly a superior suri that added the genetics, color, fiber characteristics, and typey suri head to his offspring. He will be missed.

Service Sire: Fox Run's Peruvian Nomar
30386280<--ari-->Dark Brown<--color-->Nomar is a Full Peruvian, high luster, greasy MacGyver son out of a sensational Reserve Champion True Black female. Nomar's sire MacGyver is well known and needs no introduction. His dam Coriana was a stunning true black Reserve Champion. She hailed from the Angel line, a line of animals with a consistent history of dark rich color. The combination of her genetics with MacGyverĂs has produced a fabulous male... a one of a kind genetic package.
Nomar displays beautiful correct conformation with wonderful bone and substance, a perfect typey head, fabulous coverage from his black nose to his black toes, and outstanding individual locks over his entire body. His temperament is macho and trusting. He interacts confidently with his herdmates. He is a determined breeder yet one who is easily handled and a delightful animal to be around!
Nomar's fiber coverage is excellent, his lock style is consistent, fine (18.4 micron at one year), tight, high luster and ropey. Each lock is independent to the skin with no cotting. His density is truly amazing.
Nomar is a remarkable animal in every way.... temperament, conformation and fleece. He has matured into a lovely breeding male. His first crias have arrived, and they are fabulous!!<--description-->
Description
This lovely, robust Cool Fire daughter is a proven producer of quality offspring. She possesses dense medium brown fleece with beautiful luster and a nice slick hand. She's a gentle girl to handle and work with, and all of her crias have the same laid-back disposition.
She has a wonderful pedigree (her sire, now deceased, was a Fuego son and 1/2 brother to Mahogany Prince) full of deep color. Betty would make a fabulous Peruvian outcross, being unrelated to Torbio, Uribe, Bruxo, or MacGyver.
We are retaining Betty's 2010 cria, Zena's ZsaZsa, for our breeding program. ZsaZsa has a stack of blue ribbons from shows across the country, in both halter and in spin-offs.
