Yes, this is the same gorgeous animal gracing the cover of the fall 2006 Alpacas Magazine. This exceptional herdsire is what Suri breeders are looking for. And according to Judge Mike Safley, in his travels to many shows, and what he has seen, this is what Suri breeders should be breeding for. The fineness of his fleece is exceptional and his bite and conformation are excellent. He has great density, uniformity, very independent lock structure all the way to the skin and phenomenal luster. He is a large boned compact male like his sire Bruxo. Although deceased, we have some foundation females by him who will carry on his legacy, and the Bruxo line.

Great Mother!

DPH Mia

SuriOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 20030926DOB: 8/31/200519 yrs
Mia is the definition of 'foundation female.' She's a great mother, with abundant milk and easy births. She is a beautiful blend of full Peruvian genetics from the well-known gray producing 4Peruvian Olajuwon. Would make a great outcross female to your MacGyver herdsire! Currently, Mia is open, but she can be bred to the Zena herdsire of your choice. We will even include an additional free breeding, making this a three-in-one package!

Service Sire: Zena's Peruvian Prospector

Description

Out of our True Black Champion female Mia, and by the 2005 AOBA White Color Champion, Bruxo's Luxor, Tika is a lovely female with tremendous potential and a stunning pedigree. She has solid conformation and a great disposition. She is covered from nose to toes with dense, silky and beautifully lustrous fleece. She has a dozen or so light fawn spots on her neck and blanket, and those, combined with the black pigment in her skin, speaks to her tremendous potential for producing elite colored crias down the road. She's a winner and has the ribbons to prove it.
