Kaleidoscope's Make It So

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 30597709DOB: 9/24/200618 yrs
Make It So is a stunning medium silver-gray son of El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo. ITSO's grandsire, the late, great Pacific Crest Alpacas Accoyo El Nino was one of Caligula's best offspring, and won 2004 AOBA Get of Sire, and the 2005 Light Herdsire of the Year! MAKE IT SO is a multiple-Champion throwing numerous multi-Champions with incredible fiber density and heavily bundled crimp. Have a light framed girl with nice micron, but want to improve on her conformation, bone size, density or crimp-style? He also passes on his conformation - well-balanced, w/large capacity frame and bone. ITSO is 1/2 Accoyo with lots of color behind him. At the age of 7, and having been used heavily for breeding, ITSO's micron stats are now higher than they once were, but he still displays a beautiful dense, crimpy fleece that is typical of the El Nino line, and when taken to a girl who has low micron traits, he lets that low micron come through in the offspring, while adding his density and bundled architecture. In 2005, Dr. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy of ITSO's sire, El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, revealing a follicle density of an amazing 107 follicles/mm! His Secondary to Primary ratio was an astounding 13.28/1! These are among some of the top results in the American alpaca industry. We use ITSO frequently on our own females & the resulting offspring are not only topknotch show animals, but also have very impressive fiber density and character! One of his sons, our own Ren Farms' Prime Minister, boasted a show record of 20 blues, 13 championships/reserve championships in halter and fleece classes. Prime Minister stood stud alongside his father on our stud row. Another champion son, Ren Farms' Dark Messenger, at 2 years old possessed an AFD 16.7 SD 3.1 CV 18.6 %>30 0.7...IN BLACK! We are currently offering a female cria guarantee on all breedings sold to Make It So!

Don Timbo Daughter

Elegant Rosetta

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 833949DOB: 12/22/200123 yrs
Rosetta was the 2004 AOBA Nationals grey fleece color champion. She is a Don Timbo daughter and a Request the Best granddaughter. She has tremendously high frequency fleece. Rosetta was never beaten during her show career, and she has produced championship-winning cria. In 2009, she produced a lovely consistent colored rose gray Color Champion boy, Renfarms' Rose Legend, for us out of the phenomenal multiple Champion herdsire, Magnum. In 2009, she was re-bred to 3x champion Kaleidoscope's Make It So, a stellar gray Michelangelo son and El Nino grandson. In 2010, this breeding produced a beautiful light rose gray girl, Renfarms' Scarlet & Gray Lady, whose blanket has a terrific consistency of color, and posseses a marvelous architecture and softness. "Scarlet" began her show career in spring of 2011, taking 3 ribbons in Hher first 3 shows. In 2010, Rosetta was bred to the nationally renowned gray, Legend's Challenger of KPR. The resulting 2011 silver gray cria, named Challenger's Silver Legend, is a remarkable looking boy with dense crimpy bundles and a very correct & upright conformation! He hit the show ring in the spring of 2012, and took the Color Championship in the fleece class and a blue in the halter class in his first outing - understandable as he has an AFD of 14.3! Rosetta's 2013 cria, Gray Lady's Down, is out of our multi-champion Michelangelo son, Kaleidoscope's Make It So. A very attractive light silver gray girl, Gray Lady's got a lovely, well-bundled fleece, with good handled, and only a few very small spots in her blanket. Her crimp is very consistent across her body, and she shows good promise to make it onto next year's show string.

Description

Meet Ren Farms' Gray Lady's Down. This lovely light silver gray girl is a Michelangelo and Don Timbo granddaughter. She has the unmistakable Don Timbo "eye patches", giving her a very pretty head. El Nino is her paternal great grandsire. Gray Lady is the result of our matching up our gray foundation girl, Rosetta (who was an unbeaten AOBA Nationals champ in her show career!), with our multiple champion herdsire, Kaleidoscope's Make Itso. Itso has produced numerous multi-champion offspring, some of whom are now impressive herdsires in their own right! Gray Lady has a nearly spot-free popcorned blanket (a couple of dime sized spots), with a flawless conformation and strong bone structure. Her fleece has nice brightness, and an extremely soft handle. At this point in time she does have an uneven architecture in her crimp style, which we are hoping is weather induced and temporary. She also is displaying dark colored primaries that stand out against her light silver secondaries. For that reason, we have reduced her asking price. We are offering Gray Lady with full reproductive guarantees and 1 free breeding to your choice of any of our amazing multi-champion herdsires!
