Medium Fawn Stud
Irish Meadows Peruvian Javelin
Alpaca, Huacaya, Herdsire (Male) | Medium Fawn
AOA #30697553 | DOB: 10/11/2007 (17 yrs)
Sire: PHA Accoyo Stratosphere
30697553<--ari-->Medium Fawn<--color-->Strat's cria are taking home CHAMPIONSHIPS! 19 CHAMPIONSHIPS as of June 8, 2009!! And he only has two year's worth of crias on the ground! Mapiya just took the Fawn female Color Champion at the Nationals Fleece Competition!!!!!
Strat is an exceptional proven stud male -- medium fawn full accoyo with rare genetics (one of only 4 MF full accoyo Legacy sons at last count)! His dam was an accoyo import (great dam /consistent producer; now deceased) and his sire Accoyo Legacy (now deceased) was the highest selling (1/2 share) stud male to date. Strat has done very well in the show ring and now its his cria's turn.<--description-->
Dam: Nyala's Peruvian Carousel Girl
30697553<--ari-->Medium Fawn<--color-->This gorgeous, leggy full-Peruvian, half-accoyo medium fawn darling looks really showy. She has an amazing luster to her curly crimpy fiber. She is out of a grey dam and is a Nic Nac graddaughter and Black Magic great granddaughter. She seems to have gotten the best of all worlds. She has Black Magic's luster and Accoyo Express's soft dense crimpy fiber. Her fiber must be seen to be believed! Carousel has placed first and second in her first 2 shows (before and after the same Magical Farms animal), and just got her first color championship this fall in a large class! She will be bred full accoyo late this fall. That cria will be fantastic!
Update: During shearing this year, 2006, Mark L was shearing Carousel and stopped the shearing operations to comment on the beauty of her fleece, and to insist we save it for show. So we did!
Carousel sheared 9 pounds in April of 2006, and we left leg coverage on her.<--description-->
Description
When the chance to become part owner of Javelin become available, we just believe our luck!! Javelin just exudes confidence in the ring and outside the ring he has a very calm and laid back demeaner. He is easy to approach and handle His fleece has just an amazing amount of bundles all over his body. You can see these bundles before you even get real close to him and then when you get a feel of that fleece and see that crimp - WOW! It is no wonder he has won so many ribbons and color champions. His most recent accomplishment was at GWAS where he received the color champion over 79 other fawn males. That is quite the accomplishement!!
Javelin is has a unique mixture of Accoyo Express on the dam's side and 4Peruvian Legacy on the sire's side. Anyone that is interested in getting the legendary Legacy's genes in their herd should consider Javelin for their breeding.
Javelin's first crias are on the ground and they are awesome. Javelin's Spice Girl has been to four spring shows and she came home with three Reserve Champions and a Second Place (behind Champion) at the Futurity. Contact us as soon as possible to reserve you breeding!
We would welcome your inquiries about Javelin. Feel free to call us to set up a time to come by and see him and book him for your next breeding. We believe that his crias will be simply amazing.
