Axial is a beautiful True Black full Peruvian dam with a gentle disposition who is an outstanding producer of ribbon winning alpacas. During the summer of 2004 Axial delivered her 1st cria, a full Peruvian Dark Brown/Bay Black male and son of Black Peruvian Royal Forest. Hot Lava finished off his show career with 5 ribbons, including a 2nd place at 2005 Nationals. For her 2005 cria, Axial was bred to Patagonia’s Sinopsis Nocturna, one of Patagonia’s most consistent quality herdsires. Axial delivered the most spectacular True Black cria, Black Velvet--a perfect description of his fleece. We were anxious for the upcoming show season and we weren’t disappointed when he placed in numerous shows. At the end of the season, he received a blue ribbon at AOBA 2006 Nationals! In 2006, Axial did it again--another spectacular male, this time in Dark Silver Grey! Guinness also had a fabulous show career--two blues, at AWE and AOBA 2007 Nationals, and a 2nd at Alpacapalooza. In 2007 Axial started giving us girls! First came Anna, a striking Med. Fawn gal, and in 2008 she gave us our first Phoenix daughter, a True Black. Milana is everything we could have hoped for and led our show string the next season, winning 3 ribbons. We liked Milana so well; we decided to repeat that breeding for another Full Peruvian cria. Axial gave us a second Phoenix girl, this time in Fawn! Then in 2010, Axial gave us another Phoenix gal, this time in brown. She is on our 2011 show string and we can't wait to see how she does! We have placed Axial on the sales list with much sadness, as she is one of our best producers. With Milana and Axial’s two other daughters, we feel we now have equally nice females; given our need to reduce numbers have decided to offer Axial for sale. For 2011 we decided to try a breeding with Silver Elation. Silver Elation has done a superb job for us and we are sure a mating with Axial will produce an outstanding cria for you. You can't go wrong with a purchase of Axial. She has just produced outstanding cria for us year after year.

Description

Black Velvet is our stunning Synopsis Nocturna son out of a full Peruvian Matador Dam. With velvety soft, lustrously black fleece, he truly is Black Velvet. He also has correct conformation, good bone density, and a gentle personality. Black Velvet was shown at the most competitive shows during his juvenile year and he achieved a Blue Ribbon at the 2006 AOBA Nationals in a very large class. With Black Velvet’s outstanding genetics, and show record, we were very excited to add him to our Stud Row. Black Velvet settled his first female with one breeding, just shy of 2 years of age! That cria has arrived, and he is an outstanding Med. Brown male out of a white dam. We couldn't be more pleased. We were equally pleased with his 2009 crias. He gave us two daughters, both very nice Dark Fawn/Light Brown girls out of white and light fawn Dams. One of these daughters, Fiesta, won 2nd at the extemely large 2010 GWAS in the Dark Fawn Juvinile FF class!! No surprise with a 19.8 AFD. Black Velvet is easy to handle and a good breeder. We hate to part with him, but we are downsizing and have too many males. I'm sure you will be pleased to add him to your herdsire row as we know he produces quality cria.
