Description

Very soft, cool handle to her fleece. She also has a long staple length. Her mother Diana (who we sold) is a very attentive mother. Her crias have been very vigorous. We expect Cutie to be a good mom, too. Cutie was the largest cria born in 2010. She was out standing in the field on her birthday. We did a double take: "hey, there is another alpaca in the pasture!" She got the name, "Hello Cutie" that day. She will be bred this fall our new herdsire! We are so excited to have Bodegas here standing stud. His skin biopsy from Norman Evans is excellent. He was tested at 5-1/2 years old: "This male's density and fineness with very few primary fibers greater than 30 microns rates him in the top 2 percent of Suri males that I have evaluated...You certainly have a keeper in Bodegas." -Norm Evans, DVM From Foothill's Suri Alpacas: "Here's proof of his phenomenal fiber! 8.8 pounds shorn- not including legs, witha 19.2 AFD and a CV of 20.5.
