Fleece still exhibits strong locks, bright luster at 5 1/2 years old. Docile male. Comes from the Foothill's breeding program in Washington state. We had our first cria from him in July 2011, Devman. Aspan's Evans skin biopsy report tested at 5-1/2 years: Very symmetrical fiber clusters in shape and regularity of placement. 4/4 gland presence. Density is 41.5 follicles per sq mm. S/P ratio is 10.7:1. The 250x scan shows less than 20% secondary medullation which should be associated with superior handle. 100 secondary fibers averaged 20.9 microns; 50 primary fibers averaged 32.8 microns for a variation of 11.9 microns.

We are very happy to have Libra as a foundation of our white breeding program. She has good luster, nice drapy locks, and is an attentive mother. Her 2011 cria, "Rhyme" out of Foothill's Opus One, has very nice luster and drape as well. Devman, her 2012 male cria out of our herd sire Aspan is here, and he healthy and vigorous.
