HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 1025293DOB: 6/1/200421 yrs
Our champion male was a great addition to our farm when he arrived as yearling. In his first big show, the judge, Shannon McConnell, was impressed with Patriot's "total package" and awarded him 1st in the yearling class and as the overall white Color Champion -- reporting that Patriot had the "impact you look for in a herdsire." Patriot's regal and authoritative nature displayed as quiet confidence in the show ring and later translated to assertive attentiveness as a breeding herdsire. But beyond his calm and confident personality, his fiber qualities are also impressive. His brilliant fleece was extremely dense, soft & crimpy that held well into his maturity. His boxy frame and straight conformation amplifies his regal countenance. This is not surprising considering his 'noble' bloodlines. In Magical Farms Herdsire Catalog book, they had professed their glowing praise of Patriot's Grandsire, PPPeruvian Dracula, who was known for his genetics for very dense fiber. Magical Farm's praise was not just manifested in Patriot but also his ciras. Best yet, these bloodlines are not overused so you breeding conflicts are not common. In compliment of his fantastic paternal Accoyo (white) genetics, Patriot has an infusion of color bloodlines from his dam's lineage. When bred to a brown females, Patriot has produced three dark crias: a medium brown girl (who has had a 14 micron cria), our bay black female AutumnSun's Patriot Promise (who has had one of our best crias in 2014), and a bay black male. Even his white cria, AutumnSun's Sweet Patriotic Song (from a white dam), has his pleasing fiber and upright frame. Song has been one of our best foundation dams producing show worthy and colored crias (to include a bay black).

Gabe's Mocha

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30902664DOB: 9/7/200717 yrs
This gal's heritage is loaded in color, with her grandsire being the renowned true black herdsire Jericho 69I from Canada (Okanagan Alpacas) -- whose offspring were born even at 'big name' farms like Snowmass, CCNF, and A.L.Paca and include 52% black, 23% brown, and 16% grey offspring with 67% being females. On her maternal side, Gabe's Mocha also has a strong Bolivian heritage from the Acero Marka line as well as a solid Peruvian influence from the famous PPeruvian Victor, who brought his fineness and brightness to his breedings. Gabe reflects this strong color pedigree in her own dark coloration with black points on her rich MB fleece. She presents herself in a friendly and easy-going manner, always sweet and easy to handle. Her bite and jaw alignment is good. She has a mature frame that is good for birthing. Gabe has been an easy keeper, breeder, and great dam to her crias. She is an attentive mom -- with no breeding, birthing or nursing worries. 7-30-2014 Gabe had a 22 pound silver grey male! He's healthy, solid and has presence! Dublin 3-2016 Gabe sells open at this price.
