DENSE, & ultra-fine, this fleece is truly elite. Beautiful organization, with tight bundles of 'stamped-in' crimp. The uniformity of micron and primaries that are so similar to the secondaries that they are almost impossible to find - even with a magnifying glass. And did I mention BRIGHT?! This light fawn fleece looks like it was spun from gold - and feels like the finest silk. Sire - 2009 White Futurity Champion, Hidden Hill Peruvian Dually is stamping his crias with amazing density, heavy bone, and abundant fiber coverage. Dam - a high-end daughter of Peruvian Lancaster, and out of a Felix daughter, Lousie is the kind of female that 'prong' throught the dreams of every alpaca owner. ALL offers cheerfully considered, but we are not sure we even want to sell him... SERIOUS QUALITY. Would consider discounted price to a serious show home.

Description

Our goal is to produce high quality alpacas with beautiful fleeces in COLOR, including black. Calamity Jane has what we are breeding for: type, conformation, and a wonderful fleece - and the pedigree to back it up. Calamity's pedigree combines the bloodlines of two of the top show & fleece lines - Royal Fawn and Legacy, with a stong heritage for BLACK: her sire and his sire both have black offspring, and her Chilean granddams both carry the ability to produce BLACK offspring. Chances are, Calamity can produce black crias, too. And with her quality, we won't care if we get WHITE from her! Her fleece is dense, fine, soft hanlding, with well defined crimp with good ampltitude and medium frequency. Though registered as fawn, it may really be rose grey. Whatever color they are, Calamity's crias are sure to carry on the tradition of quality. Pedigree: Her sire, Sandman, like Segundo de Royal Fawn, has sired crias in all colors, including BLACK and GREY! More important is the quality of those cria, and we are pleased. Sandman's dam, Satine, is a daughter of NZ Maori Magic. Maori Magic has sired many successful show winners - and his daughters are PRODUCING CHAMPIONS: like Futurity Reserve Champion HHF Segundo's Sonatina - and multiple Champion Beethoven!!! Maori Magic had an AFD of 25 mircons at age 12. This is unheard of for a true BLACK breeding male! Dam line: Amaretta is an eye-catching daughter of the legendary Legacy. Need we say more?
