Montoya is one of Mahogony Prince’s most illustrious sons. The blending of his sire, the legendary Mahogany Prince of PVA and his irreplaceable dam, BBFAI Azalea, produced such a pre-potent male. Montoya possesses a rich, deep mahogany colored fleece that is extremely dense, with excellent coverage and well locked from the tip of his ears to his toes AND is a multiple COLOR CHAMPION. Offspring include: Silvana of PVA, 2006 Gray CHAMPION; Olivia of PVA, 2006 AOBA & AWE COLOR CHAMPION; Fantasia of PVA, 2008 Reserve COLOR CHAMPION at the AOBA Nationals & AWE and half sister to 2006 Supreme CHAMPIONS Diamonte and Syrah, both of whom were also AOBA National COLOR CHAMPIONS. -Full brother to the legendary Kobe of PVA and Juan Pablo of PVA.

SuriBred (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 805757DOB: 9/7/1998
Woodsedge Duchess is an old time PVA foundation female, herself the mother of foundation females, and yet she is still producing fine crias every year for us. We almost always breed her to Montoya of PVA (son of PVA Mahogany Prince), and have yet to be sorry for it. This year Duchess gave us a beautiful fawn and white multi female cria. Bold and forthright like her mother, yet cute and flirty, this baby is already ruling the pasture! We're sure you'll be seeing her in the show ring, just like her brothers and sisters before her. Woodsedge Duchess is a 7x COLOR CHAMPION; Twice at the Futurity and twice at the AOBA Nationals. She is the top producing female out of Accoyo Baron and is also the dam of Little Duchess of PVA, another female in the elite group of top foundation females at Park View Alpacas.

Description

Montoya's Heir Apparent is an eye-catching, handsome fellow, and he is quite friendly and personable to boot. Because his name can be such a mouthful to rattle off when you're in a hurry, we sometimes call him "Harry" for short. Harry's fleece is very fine and soft, and feels good in your hand. It's tempting to try to bury yourself in his blanket. No wonder he won Spinner's Dream at the 2011 IAO! Harry cut a respectable figure during the 2011 show season. He is assured of a place on the 2012 Park View show string. Be on the lookout for him--bigger and taller than last year, even more self-assured, and the same black and white dazzle as before...
