Service Sire: Chakotah's Wyuna
Owned by Tambo Alpacas and Parkview Alpacas, campaigned by Pucara International.
UPDATE: With only his first year of production Wyuna has already produced suris from Parkview Alpacas, who won male and female Judges Choice Awards, along with the Get Class, as juvies at the 2013 IAO! Wyuna also came second to Chakotah, his sire, at the 2013 Futurity, in the Dark Get of Sire Class. He won the CABA Get Class against the Kahuna team!!!
FOR A COMPLETE ANALYSIS OF WYUNA AND HIS ANCESTORY GO TO http://www.pucara-alpacas.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=127&Itemid=138
Every once in a while you get a beauty and indeed Wyuna is every bit as good as any suri we have ever created. When he was just at about six months old Joe Miller from Broken Road Alpacas came to our farm to find some show stock. He spotted Wyuna and instantly was obsessed with his quality and purchased a half share with Stacy, his wife. They have not been disappointed, especially after selling their share to David and Nancy at Parkview Alpacas for $80,000 plus retaining 20 breedings!!!
He had a sterling show career as a juvie but in 2011 blazed! He was unbeaten in five shows winning all the championships he competed in and all the Judges Choices line ups he was in!
He is a combination of the best genetics we can possibly supply plus the best from other farms. Just look at his ARI certificate. He pulls in the famous Bruxo and Augustina through Macgyver as a great grand sire. He also pulls in Pucara Kahuna through Pucara Kalina the best Kahuna daughter we ever bred at that stage, then again Pucara Kahuna comes through Pucara Lorretta on the dam's side. We are biased but Pucara Kahuna is probably now the foremost white herdsire in US history continually winning Get classes and Futurity herdsires of the year. Then add Uribe on through the sire, Chakotah, and then Pucara Allegro via her dam, Pucara Autumnall Goddess, a Produce of Dam winner. Pucara Allegro was a dominant herdsir<--description-->
Description
Miss Accoyo la Perla is a lovely milky color, like her namesake the pearl. Her thick soft fleece, which earned her a Color Championship at the 2013 IAO Fleece Show, practically begs to be touched. She is pregnant with her first cria, due in late June of 2013.
In the making of La Perla, we dipped into some of the finest genetics that Park View Alpacas has to offer.
Her dam, Miss Accoyo LeReve, is the daughter of the one and only Peruvian Torbio and our own PVA Miss Liber Dee. Miss Liber Dee was sired by Santiago's Peruvian Accoyo Tiago, and born to our own Liber Dee. Liber Dee (PPeruvian Ramilo x HHSF Vernazza) was for many years a stalwart production female in the PVA breeding program: her other crias include Excella of PVA 2007 AOBA Color Champion. Miss Accoyo LeReve won red ribbons in large classes at the 2008 IAO, the 2008 AWE, and the 2008 GWAS. La Perla is her first cria.
La Perla's sire is the incomparable Diamonte of PVA, a third generation Color Champion and perhaps the best known Park View animal of all time. He is a nine-time Color Champion, including two AOBA National Championships (2004 and 2005) and the 2006 IAO Supreme Color Championship (and Best Head). Thanks to Diamonte, La Perla is sister to Mikimoto of PVA, 2008 AOBA Nationals Color Champion and GWAS Color Champion; Sweet Success of PVA, the 2008 AWE Reserve Color Champion; Marzipan of PVA, the 2008 CABA Classic Reserve Color Champion; and Mr. Liberio of PVA, the 2012 IAO Color Champion.
Miss Accoyo La Perla has been bred to 2011 IAO Supreme Color Champion Chakotah's Wyuna for a summer 2013 cria. This pairing encapsulates generations of careful breeding. Wyuna produced no less than 8 fine crias for Park View in 2012, and we believe we will not be disappointed in the result.
