Michellina of PVA is the daughter of the kindest and most sweet-spirited animal in Park View’s pastures: Minuet of PVA. Each of Minuet’s three daughters (Miura, Michellina, and Silver Mist) has inherited her delight in human companionship and curiosity about the world around her; Michellina is no exception.
What is more, Minuet passes on to her crias her wonderfully lustrous, soft, fine fleece. In Michellina’s case, this fleece is a delicious chocolately color that may someday become dark rose gray. Just looking at pictures of her makes you want to run your hands over her neck and shoulders.
Michellina’s dam, Minuet of PVA, is out of DPA Minnie and by Keanu of PVA, a breeding combination that has produced such high quality, ribbon-winning animals as Masterlock, Minerva and Minnehaha. DPA Minnie was out of PPeruvian Minuet and by Ricardo; Keanu out of Peruvian Fawn Alli and by The Mahogany Prince, PVA’s finest foundation animals.
Michellina’s sire, MacGyver’s Balboa, has won many ribbons and awards in his own right. Most recently, in 2011 he was
named Dark Herd Sire of the Year, and Reserve Light Herd Sire of the Year. No wonder Michellina has fleece you love to touch, and genetics you’d love to add to your own breeding program!
Michellina gave birth to her first cria, a dark brown female by Chakotah's Wyuna, on 10/8/12. Fat cute baby and proud mama are both doing well. Michellina is an excellent mother. She is rebred to Wyuna for 2013.
